Thank you so much for letting us stay here. Our family ad so many activities to do. The badminton was a real hit! It was nice to have our whole family here for the Grandparents 50 anniversary.

What a Beautiful Home You Have!

When we left Dallas and Houston it was in the 100s and the cool air here felt great. The days were filled with lots of fun and great memories were made. All the kids (both big and small) enjoyed playing in the creek. Every night we made a fire and roasted marshmallows. We played football and soccer. But what we will remember most is the time we just got to relax in this beautiful setting, finally having a chance to just enjoy being a family. We can't thank you enough for letting us stay here. It was all we could have ever asked for!

Wonderful Place to Spend Time with our Family

Thank you for welcoming us into your home. We had a great experience and lots of memories to look back on. Our family came her for Grandpa's 80th birthday. We had a great time and we are already talking about making this trip to your home a tradition for our family. The setting was perfect...the creek, the flowers, the mountains, and all the green around us. It was our escape and we couldn't ask for a more wonderful place to spend time with our family. Thank you so much!

If you are looking for beautiful scenery, peace and quiet and COMPLETE solitude this is your place. No traffic and lots of stars. My husband and I along with 16 others just spent 8 nights at this wonderful haven. The house had beds for all 18 of us. It is old and full of character. Be sure and read the white notebook to appreciate everything. Even in July we used the fireplace in the mornings and evenings. The house has a large sitting area and large table in the dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked for large groups. Outside the river is just a few steps from the house. We did lots of fishing and we brought tire tubes from home to tube the river. There is a volleyball net, where we had a lot of games. We played badminton, horseshoes and just enjoyed the beautiful views. We brought extra chairs and there was no need. They have plenty of chairs outside and inside. During the day we hiked and biked on endless trails. We brought some of the bikes and rented some in Fort Collins for the week. At night there is a wonderful firepit on the river. Lars kept us stocked in firewood and we sat around the fire every night to end our day. There are lots of games and books sprinkled thru the house as well. Plenty to do without ever leaving the ranch. Fort Collins is about 35 miles away. We went on a great rafting trip and my sons also kayaked. On our last day some of us had a massage to end the trip. Would suggest you grab your food in Fort Collins before you get to the ranch. They have a grill we used most every night. If you forget something it is not a short drive. We have been all over Colorado vacationing and this will go down as one of our favorite places. Wondeful week and the Larson's were extremely helpful. TIP: We were traviling with several teenagers and there is not any cell service. Our bunch found they could get reception at the call box about two miles from the house. You can choose to share this or not. It was nice to not have phones. We are back home and wish we were back on the ranch!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife, Annie and I just had a wonderful New Years' Eve at the cabin. We went up on the 28th and stayed through the 1st, along with a few friends. All the rooms were perfect - my wife and I actually had trouble deciding which room we wanted, they were all so nice! We had many fun times and good meals around the dining table. The gas fireplace was a good place to spend a quiet morning or lazy afternoon in front of. Lars was kind enough to cut some wood for the fire pit - Thanks!! And everyone loved to see the horse, Magic, who would greet us every morning at the window. Great Cabin, outstanding location and awesome renters - We'll be back!

We had the most wonderful time on the Larson's ranch. It is such a pieceful, beautiful and interesting place. We climbed mountains, fished, played in the river, rested on the porch and explored as much of the ranch as we possibly could. Our three boys loved every minute and we were all so sad to leave. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks Amy and Lars for your hospitality.

What a lovely place! Beautiful river valley! Seeing ALL those stars and hearing the river at night is a special bonus for a city dweller like me. The ranch house has plenty of room for family dinners, skits, and music. The living room is a great place for board games and reading by the fireplace. We played volley ball in the yard, fished from the banks of the river in the meadow, and took nice walks up the road and over the hills. Very relaxing. Modern enough for a hot shower and zapping the maple syrup but certainly not the Plaza Hotel. Yet, this one of a kind place is just primitive enough to be reminded that Wyoming and the Real West is close at hand.
