We just did 3 nights at Suzie's condo and it was absolutely great. We went for the Beale St Music Festival and the music theme of the condo only made it an extra special weekend. The pictures don't this justice. The rooms are all large, the kitchen has everything you need for a short or longer stay. The beds were comfortable and the linens and bedding were first rate. The artwork, posters and memorabilia only made it that much more special. Thanks Suzie for the local tips for breakfast (the Arcade is a must), a Soul Burger (Ernestine & Hazel's) and BBQ (Blues City Cafe on Beale). The condo is a 15 minute walk from Beale and was only 5 minutes to Tom Lee Park for the Beale St. Festival. Great location, great festival and a great place to stay. Thanks Suzie. I think the best compliment is..."we'll be back".

In all honesty I was a sceptic when I reserved the Music Condo. I read the reviews, looked at the pictures, but still doubted it. I once stayed at a condo in Austin that had great reviews and pictures, but once we arrived it was a total dump. That experience left me doubtful that the Music Condo was as good as the reviews and pictures. I can now say that Suzi has restored my faith in renting individual condos once again. The Music Condo is well maintained, clean and beautiful. Suzi is a caring person that also provided us with local recommendations to restaurants that turned out to be great. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at the Memphis Music Condo! The condo was fabulous. Everything was in top notch condition and very comfortable. After just one afternoon we started referring to the condo as "home". Lots of activities were within walking distance. We enjoyed fabulous music at B.B. King's Blues Club on Beale Street (check out Will Tucker - Friday and Saturday evenings from 5-8pm). We also went to the Civil Rights Museum which was very moving (we even met Billy Kyle - it seems he stops by pretty often). We had fresh fruit from the Farmers Market (open Saturday morning), and enjoyed a number of great restaurants including the Rendevous for barbecue and the Arcade (the oldest diner in Memphis). The listing photos do a great job of letting you know what to expect (but then it exceeds your expectations). The property was clean and well maintained. I had a number of questions prior to our visit and Suzie was very helpful and responded to my emails very quickly (great restaurant suggestions). It was great to lounge around and enjoy coffee in the morning and stay up late working on a jig saw puzzle and just generally catching up with our friends from college (we won't say how long ago that was, but let's just say we had a lot of catching up to do!). We will definitely recommend this property to friends and family, and will plan to stay there again when we are planning a trip to Memphis. I can only hope other enjoy their stay at the Memphis Music Condo as much as we did. We wer just sorry we only had 2 nights! Enjoy!!!!
Owner response:Thanks Leigh for the awesome review! You were great tenants as well. I am so glad you enjoyed your time here in Memphis.

Great place - clean, comfortable and convenient to everything. We managed to see all the sites on our Bucket List. Owner is extremely accommodating and helpful and we couldn't have been more pleased with this condo for our "ladies weekend away." A definite repeat if ever back in Memphis.

What a beautifully unique condo! Very clean and well kept and tastefully decorated. My sisters and I were celebrating all of us finally being in our 50's and staying in this condo made for a very enjoyable and fun time. This place is not far from the river or the action downtown. It is very accessible to the highways and is in an up and coming neighborhood of classy apartments, condo's and lofts. We surely got our exercise with the staires but well worth the climb. We had plenty of room to stretch out and have fun and the condo had everything that we could ever need for our stay. Suzie was very easy and accommodating to work with in that she told us about the best eateries in town and made us feel right-at-home. I couldn't ask for any better place to stay. If you could install an elevator, then well be sure to come back for our 60's 'sister's' get together!

We're seasoned travelers and VRBO users (as well as the owner of a VRBO property in N. C.) and we thought we'd struck gold when we came upon this listing for a Memphis stay for our family of four (parents, two teenaged children). Our stay was better than gold. Aside from having a perfect location (near historic Beale Street and the Mississippi River, with easy access to everything we wanted to see), the home is a wonder. A private garage leads into the first of three floors, meaning there was plenty of room for our kids to spread out. The main floor's large kitchen and living room were fabulous (along with a dining nook by a balcony) and designed with comfort and livability in mind. The top floor had a massive master bedroom and bath and a nice-sized second bedroom. The decor was also a star. You simply have to see it to believe it - posters and photos featuring Memphis' blues scene and history, along with other amazing artifacts (some signed by the artists themselves). It lent a delicious authentic air to our visit and amazed our 16-year-old musician son, who also was enthralled by the eclectic collection of music on the iPod in the living room. We've traveled extensively over the years. When you stay away from home, you long for, but rarely get, a "personal touch" in a home, or have an experience where you say - "I wouldn't change ONE thing about this place." We got it here - perfect location, master craftsmanship in a beautiful home, one-of-a-kind decor, and an unparalleled experience from start to finish. What we sought to do in our own vacation home, the owners here have pulled off. It was, for us, a truly historic visit.
Owner response:Bill, We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at our townhouse. And thank you for your fabulous review!

The Memphis Music Condo provided me with the best accommodations that I've ever had away from home. The location is ideal and the neighborhood is quiet. I'm looking for a reason to visit Memphis again with the hopes of staying at the Music Condo.
Owner response:We hope you get to return soon!

Even though I live only 4 hours from Memphis, I had never visited. Both this condo and Memphis rock! The pictures on the web do not do the condo justice! It is absolutely beautiful and in a very safe, quiet downtown neighborhood. We especially enjoyed looking at all of Mike and Suzie's posters and pictures of the musicians that make Memphis famous. Anything you could possibly need was provided. Breakfast at the Arcade Restaurant around the corner provided good food and fun. The trolley made the 1-mile trip to Beale Street down South Main both inexpensive and entertaining as you pass Ernestine and Hazel's ghost bar, the Orpheum Theatre, and the Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King was shot. B. B. Kings on Beale was a great place to listen to blues music. It cost only a $1.00 each to ride the trolley around the Riverfront Loop and see the Mississippi and Mud Island. If you've never visited Memphis, I recommend doing it in style and staying at the Memphis Music Condo! I look forward to our next visit.

We walked into our condo after nearly 24 hours of travel. We were absolutaley blown away. The condo has everything you could every need in a vacation property. Plenty of room for 5 of us. We even had an I Pod full of cool music. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of towels and home comforts. Mike and Suzie have thought of everything. Trolley stop was just a block away, which takes you to the main strip, Must visits are Blues City Cafe great food and a Johnny Cash tribute band, which were fab. Sun Studios a good few hours tour. A trip down the Mississippi on one of the paddle steamers. And of course Beale Street on Friday or Saturday night. If we come to Memphis again we will definatley book this condo, the pictures on the website are good but do not do this place justice. Thank you Mike and Suzie it was great. One last thing we had lots of questions before arriving and all were answered, lots of emails replied by the owners.

We recently stayed at the Memphis Music Condo for the May Music Festival. The condo is better than the pictures and the owners have thought of everything. We could not have asked for a better place. Anytime we're in Memphis we'll surely stay again. AWESOME!

We stayed in the condo over the Thanksgiving weekend. What a beauty of a place!. Plenty of room for the whole family - my dad came in from Chicago with my daughter, and my sister and her boyfriend came in from Virginia. The condo is truly lovely and filled with great music memorabilia. We completely recommend and will definitely consider this place again if we decide to stay in Memphis.

The location was great (in the center of everything). The amenities (above and beyond). My family had the best time (even though we got snowed in), everyone was able to find a place to relax and enjoy themselves (movies, jukebox, cards, board games, cooking, soaking in the tub). Not only would I recommend the property to someone else, we plan to revisit it as soon as possible.

We had an incredible time in the Music Condo. The location is perfect to Beale Street and all of downtown Memphis. Also, very close to the gorgeous Mississippi river. The accommodations were lovely and in beautiful condition. I highly recommend staying in the music condo and coming to Memphis!

My girlfriends and I had a great "girls" weekend here! Plenty of room and bathrooms! Very nicely decorated. The location was great also. Very easy to get to Beale Street and just right around the corner from the trolley line. We enjoyed it very much and will always stay here if it is available! Since I was the "travel agent" for the group on this trip my girlfriends said I did great!
