  We had a great time in Minnesota. Casa Del Mar is the perfect setting! If you are looking for a getaway and want to enjoy all the amenities this is the place for you. There's fishing, boating, swimming etc. It was a bit too cold for most of us to be out on the water but it didn't stop by husband from fishing and licenses were avaialbe at the local Walmart. There was a total of 6 of us and we were very comfortable and the house it spotless (an added bonus).

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.

  My stay at Casa Del Mar was over the top! The photos are extremely accurate of the property and Elaine has thought of all the ammenities to make your stay complete. I watched the loons and listened to their songs,as well as watched bald eagles fish in the lake. I took kayak trips around the lake every morning and my family loved the paddleboat and fishing right off the dock. Elaine has prvided more than enough lawn chairs for company as well as board games if you should have a rainy day. Iti is clean, beautiful, and she provides more than what she promised in the description! I was able to make many forever memories at Casa and will definitely return. I highly recommend this property. Thank you Elaine!

  We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Mar. Our favorite thing to do there was getting out on the paddle boat. Our daughter had a blast with the small fish by the dock. Also, it was great to have the indoor games when it was raining out! The decor was very nice. Hopefully we have the chance to come back when it isn't going to rain!

  We had a great time! The fishing and swimming beach was beautiful! The actual lake home was so nicely decorated and we loved the marble tiles! We enjoyed our stay.

  My family and I spent the Christmas holiday at Casa Del Mar! One word describes our stay, FABULOUS! The home was perfect for our stay and after the kids went to bed, the view of the snow on the lake was so romantic! My husband has gone from the typical Southern sceptic to lover of all that is cold and white. Elaine was wonderful and made my family feel right at home. We had so much fun....can't wait to return to Casa Del Mar, for Christmas and it is definitely on the short list for our yearly anniversary trip! Thank you so much!

  "Our 5 year old put it best, "This is a paradise!". So peaceful, private & relaxing. Just what we needed! Our son caught a fish with his hands and a net. We paddle boated, floated on the island, fished off the dock, had rainy family game night- packed a lot of much needed family bliss in to a few short days! We have beautiful memories! We will always remember our time here and your kindness! Thanks again for the anniversary cake, it made our trip even more special- and sweet!!"

  "What a great week! Your house is beautiful! We ate at all the restaurants you suggested (as we don't cook when on vacation) & even went back to the Bay Club! Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. Your information book was very helpful. Hope to come back & will recommend highly! Thanks for everything."

  All went fantastic on our stay at Casa Del Mar. We really appreciated the attention to detail in the home. Pretty much everything we ever needed was there! We are so happy with the experience we had, we would love to book it for next year for a whole week------
