The Master bedroom contains a fireplace, a king size bed, its own very large private bathroom with walk-in, double head, shower and a two person spa tub. It also has a large sitting area and a with a HD, flat screen TV and DVD player. There are French doors leading out to the pool and another private patio with more large overstuffed outdoor furniture to relax on.
The guesthouse also has a king size bed, large private bathroom, sitting area, TV and small kitchen.
All 4 of the additional guestrooms have queen size beds. Some of the guest rooms have TV’s & DVD players. The Historic Movie Colony was the original playground in the desert for Hollywood's brightest writers, directors, stars and starlets. The Red Umbrella Estate was owned by the brilliant Dale Wasserman, writer of "The Man of La Mancha" in 1959 which went on to win the Tony Award for Best Musical in 1966. The film version earned an Oscar nomination and a Golden Globe Nomination for Peter O'Toole as Best Actor. Additionally, he wrote "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" which in 1975 shattered records with 9 Oscar nominations and 5 wins , including Best Picture, Jack Nicholson for Best Actor, Louise Fletcher for Best Actress, Milos Forman for Best Director.
