Welcome to 8 Hollyberry Lane! Renovated in 2009, this beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is located the Greenwood Forest neighborhood of Sea Pine Plantation on Hilton Head Island.
The entire house has been updated, including an entirely new kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and new granite countertops in the kitchen and both bathrooms. The cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms is also new. The carpet is brand new as well as the gorgeous hardwoods throughout the main living area. The house has an open floor plan with a vaulted ceiling in the family room. The large kitchen island, breakfast nook and dining room tables provide plenty of seating and space for dining, entertaining, card games, and kid’s activities.
There is a king bed in the master suite, 2 full sized beds in the 2nd bedroom, 2 twin beds in the 3rd bedroom, and sleeper sofa in the family room (sleeping up to 10 people). The mattresses were purchased new in March of 09 and you can tell when you lay on them they are quality serta mattresses. All bedrooms have a television with cable and the twin bedroom has a TV with a DVD player built in.
The house has cable TV in all the bedrooms, with a mounted wide-screen HD TV in the family room with digital cable, DVR, DVD, and surround sound. Flat screen also in the other bedroom. The house is also equipped with wireless access to the internet and free long distance (48 states).
The private, shaded back deck is perfect for relaxing evenings, cooking on the gas grill and outdoor dining. There is also a small deck on the front of the house for a little sun with your coffee and newspaper. There are comfortable teak chairs and table on the front porch.
Location: The house is centrally located in the Sea Pines Plantation with easy access to the bike trails. Restaurants, entertainment, South Beach Marina, Harbor Town, the Sea Pine’s Beach Club, tennis, and several golf courses just a short bike ride away. The Greenwood Forest neighborhood also borders the Harbor Town golf course, so for watching golf tournaments, it is a quick, easy walk from the house to the course.
Beach Proximity: The Sea Pines Beach Club is just a 2 minute car ride or a 5 minute bike ride away. The beach club offers beach chair and umbrella rentals, an outdoor restaurant/grill, beach shop, drinks for both the kids and adults, and bathrooms.
Neighborhood Activities: As a guest you have access to the Greenwood Forest community swimming pool and tennis court, basketball hoop and playground.
Sea Pines Plantation is a secure, family-oriented environment which provides 24 hour security, and the Greenwood Forest neighborhood provides lots of privacy.

My wife and I have three children and live in Charlotte, NC. We have been vacationing on Hilton Head Island for years and have many great memories of vacations with family and friends. We’ve spent many weeks up and down the east coast, but haven’t found any place we enjoy more than Hilton Head, so we decided to invest in our own beach house.
Why the Owner Chose Greenwood Forest
We have visited Hilton Head many times over the years and have stayed in many different houses and condos. Several years ago, we stayed at a house in the same Greenwood Forest neighborhood and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was spacious and the quiet neighborhood was perfect for the kids to ride their bikes, and wander around the neighborhood. We watched for similar properties in the neighborhood and in 2008 purchased a place of our own.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The home was completely remodeled in early 2009. The open floor plan provides plenty of room for entertainment and togetherness, but home is also big enough to find quiet time on the deck or in the bedrooms, all of which have TVs. The neighborhood tennis court and community pool are included as part of the rental fee. And for the kids or in case work calls, the house has wireless internet access.

Spending the 4th of July in Hilton Head was the perfect beach vacation. The fireworks were great! It can be stressful planning the perfect vacation for my family (especially when non-family are coming too). I made the right decision choosing this vacation rental home! The house was open and the beds are comfortable. Nicely decorated and has a huge kitchen. The back patio has a view of native trees and feels private. We rode bikes everywhere which was nice since we didn't want to spend much more time in the car. Mom was able to relax on the beach while the kids played in the waves. Some beaches have rough surf and all I do is worry. We highly recommend staying in this comfortable yet beautiful vacation property.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

My husband and I have been vacationing in Sea Pines since before we were married 6+ years ago. The last several years we have rented a villa, but the villa recently changed owners and is no longer available for rent. So for our vacation over Thanksgiving 2010, we had to find a new place to stay. We're so glad we found this house! The house had ample room for us (including our 20-month old daughter.) The kitchen was beautiful and well equipped, and it was a joy to cook our Thanksgiving dinner in the house! The kitchen is in the center of two dining areas that together can seat 14, and the island can accommodate another 5. The heart of the home is completely open between the kitchen/dining area and the living room which is perfect if multiple families are sharing the house (as is often the case when we vacation.) The bedrooms were large and nicely decorated and separate enough from the rest of the house to offer privacy. Although we didn't use the neighborhood pool (as I mentioned, we visited over the Thanksgiving holiday) we did find it to be a nice pool/playground facility that was just a minute drive from the house. The home owners were also very easy to work with, and they did everything they said they would do. We were able to communicate with them through emails, by phone and by mail. They were always available, quick to respond and even accommodated a special request we had. We are happy to say that we have found a new, great rental property that we will continue to use for our future trips to HHI!
