This cottage is called the "Temple Guest House" since it was once used for meditation. Now it's a beautiful, efficient two-room studio cottage (10x20 + added bathroom section). High ceiling, hardwood floor and tiled bathroom. Hawaiian print fabrics & Balinese touches decorate the interior.

The surrounding paradise environment has tropical shrubbery, flowers, trees. Lovely lotus pond and flowering plants in front. Mini ponds around the property hold more lotus and other water plants. Besides the lotus pond, sculptures by the resident artist adorn some points of interest in the property. We also have a few good-natured hens (no roosters) who wander 'round.

Besides being surrounded by nature, enjoy free wireless free internet access.

There's lots of room for parking next to the guest house. Our convenient location near Shower Drive in Hawaiian Paradise Park makes us close enough to Hilo town and the airport (20 minutes away), and also makes us centrally located to East Hawaiian sights, such as Volcanoes National Park, Pahoa town, warm pond (Ahalanui Park) and Champagne Ponds, etc. One of the best rates in the Hilo/Keaau/Pahoa area.

Our goal is for you and your party to have a comfortable, enjoyable stay in our affordable, clean, charming guest house. Since starting in May 2003, we've had guests who want to stay here again when they're back in the islands &/or want to refer us to their friends.
