Casa de Cozumel is a Mediterranean style spilt level home decorated in Tuscan / Spanish décor. It has three private bedrooms and three tiled baths with additional sleeping areas in the living room and family room and outside covered patio.
The home can sleep up to 15 however there is a charge for extra persons over 10. The living room has random plank oak floors, redwood vaulted ceilings, giant picture windows overlooking the lake with a piano, sound system, big screen TV with surround sound, DVD and VCR. The gourmet kitchen has granite tops, mahogany cabinets and new stainless steel appliances.
The formal dining room, complete with fireplace, accommodates 10 persons with ease. Need more room? Use the game table (converts to a poker table) in the living room and adjacent covered tiled terrace. The gourmet kitchen has mahogany cabinets and porcelain (limestone look) floors. There are newer appliances including a double ovens, dishwasher, microwave and a large refrigerator with ice maker and freezer. The kitchen is fully equipped will all utensils, serving dishes and flatware.
The upper level has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, tv and a private tiled bath. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, tv, a fireplace (electric) and an "en-suite" full bathroom (also can be accessed from the main hallway). The beds are "tripled sheeted" and have down comforters with duvet covers.
On the lower level there is large game/family room with imported Italian tile floor, large fireplace, pool table, big screen TV, wet bar, under counter wine cooler and Heinekin Beer Tap (Brink your own 5 liter kegs). This room also has two full futons with room for additional floor futons and rollaways. The third bathroom (all tile and marble) and laundry room is also on this lower level. There is a door from the family room to the sundeck. The 3rd Bedroom (the glass block sun room) on the lower level patio, has an full size 4-poster bed, tropical garden and fountain. There is a private patio off this bedroom complete with wall fountain and a sand box area for kids.
Off of the family room there is an outside storage area where you will find a supply of water toys, lifejackets, etc. From there one enters the large sundeck and boat dock areas. The sundeck is equipped with a spa, propane BBQ (be prepared to fill the tank) fire pit, dining table, lounge chairs.
We have a private boat dock which accommodates up to a 20 ft boat side-tied and additional room for jet skis.
This home was built in 1941 by the Postmaster of Clearlake Park (The post Office is two doors over).
