We are not a dude ranch, but an exclusive working cattle ranch in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The 1200 acre ranch is nestled in a canyon, surrounded by miles of undeveloped national forest lands. We are just an hour and a half from Aspen – close enough to take advantage of all it has to offer and far away enough to appreciate the beauty and serenity of the country.
Spring Creek Ranch is a family-owned authentic working ranch that invites guests to share in the day-to-day operations of the ranch. You will be our private guests on this real working ranch for the week. The 5 bedroom 4 bath 4,300 square foot ranch house is situated above a creek and surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful mountain ranges. This house has been beautifully furnished with western antiques and appointed with every detail to ensure all the conveniences and comforts of home.
Activities abound both on and off the ranch for everyone. Ranch owner, Ron Rogers, and ranch foreman, Gary Erpestad, will be your wranglers. They are at your service to suggest and plan activities that will appeal to the romantic, the adventurer, the sportsman or the naturalist! We’ll help you find the perfect blend of whatever you’re looking for- we can tailor the week especially to your needs.

Hi Ron, Just wanted to let you know once again that after four decades of vacationing in both Europe and the U.S., I have found my ultimate vacation experience buried in the hills of Colorado at Spring Creek Ranch. Claudie and I are hoping to return in early fall to experience the thrill of joining you and the surrounding ranchers on your annual cattle drive when you bring the herds down from the hills to the lower valley. We hope to stay two weeks this time and need your available dates. Will be taking our grandkids out of school in France this time as we feel the wild west experience will more than compensate from whatever they may miss out on. Your ranch hands are great and being able to pitch in with the mending of fences, feeding of the goats, chickens, cattle, horses, picking our fresh vegetables from your wonderful garden and then watching Lisa prepare those wonderful meals a la old west, just makes our experience at the Ranch unique, one we look forward to repeating year after year. Hope that great little restaurant in Silt will be open in the fall as that's an experience in itself. We would like you and Lisa to join us on a fly fishing outing and maybe a day of shopping in Aspen. Looking forward to the available dates so let us hear from us soon.
