Why the Owner Chose Acapulco
This unique property belonged to my parents and I have the fondest memories of many holidays spent there with my siblings and parents. As a shared family property, we later as parents have also had the opportunity of spending holidays with our children and friends. After the passing on of our parents, and several siblings in 1999 I became the sole owner, of this best kept secret. I embarked on a in depth remodeling, including all electrical wiring, added 1 1/2 bathrooms totally redid the kitchen, making a wet bar, and an open floor plan. The floor is white with multicolored marble chips, giving the apartment a wonderful light tropical feeling.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Waterfront, gated, safe, peaceful, close to "Zocalo" (center) of Acapulco, yet far enough away from all the hassle of the masses and annoying vendors. This property is very private, with the most spectacular panoramic view over the bay. We love to sit by the open veranda listening to the ripple of the waves on the little beach, and look out over the bay enjoying the night view of the bay. All the lights from the big hotels, restaurants and the city of Acapulco look like millions of sparkling precious stones on a black velvet background . Here I can relax, read my books, enjoy the tropical garden, have a leisure swim in the late afternoon, just spend a lazy day. When our children were younger, I knew that they were safe, playing on the beach, collecting shells, fishing from the pier or swimming in the pool. What we really enjoy is that we have the option to go to the south side of Acapulco bay where all the restaurants, clubs, Disco, bars are: enjoy a nice evening, and we can pull ourselves away from all the crowds, the bustle and find peace and quiet. We have some quaint little restaurants in our area which we just love to go to, one is right on the beach, in the little bay of Caleta. For a wonderful sunset up at the old "Flamingo Hotel", on Thursdays they serve the traditional "Pozole".

Bron and I celebrated our 37th Anniversary in April 2009. We are blessed with two wonderful children Alexandra and Robert. We treasure family time, and love to play different board games with our children. We are a multicultural family , multilingual, educated in Europe, lived in Mexico, Holland, Switzerland, England and the US. We both love to travel, visiting new and old places: intermingle with the local folk, drive the secondary roads through Europe, practice our languages, enjoy the varied culinary kitchens. We love to search out interesting new places, local B & B's, definitely off the tourist route, sip lovely local wines and enjoy the nature en route. We are blessed with many wonderful friends all around the world. 24 years ago we purchased a Ranch property west of Mexico city, in Michoacan within 3/4 of an hour from the Monarch butterflies. The challenges have been many, first access roads, then water reservoirs, preparing the soil after many years of corn harvesting, working totally in an Organic Form. Some 7 years ago Bron came across the Brasso Boysenberry plants , an acre today renders several months of extraordinary totally Organic berries. I am very much into the Organic, we prepare all our own fertilizers, etc. and after experimenting and always learning we are gradually starting to grow different crops. We just planted over 100 artichokes, we have a field of guavas, another with peanuts, wheat, dill, and fennel, celery root and other deli vegetables. It is hard work and always a challenge with the elements. We are finishing a simple cute little bungalow of 2 bedrooms also for rental options.
