This home was so inviting that you really almost feel as if they have invited you to be part of their family! Little touches like the invite to use their sugar if need be, and the abundant "welcome Basket" with wine!! That was a first! Even the local neighbors welcomed us the moment we appeared outside on the beach. You truly can not get a better beach location. Direct foot access to the sand and water could not be better! The rooms are perfectly set for kids and adults alike. And the beds are SO cozy! Thank you so much for opening your home. We can not wait to come back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

The house, amenities, and beach location are absolutely one of the best our family has seen anywhere. From the kids bunkroom with great bunkbeds, to the endless views from the master bedroom we cant wait to come back (we have already booked for next summer). The hosts are so gracious and accomadating and have thought of everything a beach lover would need. Our two boys, my wife, and I spent the afternoons fishing for Flounder and Cod (cause we couldnt catch any Salmon) or floating in the crystal clear Pudget Sound this is a stunning place with the best in accomodations and ammenities. Unfortunately this wont be a secret for long.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay at this beautiful beach home. Kitchen is fully appointed, with modern appliances; everything you could possibly need is here. This is usually not the case with other vacation home rentals. Bedrooms/beds are very comfortable. Linens and laundry facilities are provided; a huge plus. This beach at Useless Bay is the best to be found in Washington, especially at low tide when you can walk out on the tide flats forever, collect beautiful shells and sand-dollars, and observe interesting ocean and bird life along with the passing ferries, ships, and cruise boats in the distance. Perfect for setting out your beach chairs and cooler, and gradually moving in with the tide. Eagles and herons are everywhere and fun to watch up close. A paradise for kids and adults alike. Why the Owner Chose Useless Bay:
I have owned the property since 1986, but tore down my little cabin and rebuilt in 2005. The BEACH. THE BEACH!!!!!!!! Even in winter there are storms. Spring the birds, summer the glorious days of summer.
