Two-Story Home on over an acre of forested seclusion. Less than 100 yards to the Hiawassee River and a short 10 minute drive to Lake Chatuge. Private home just five years old with views of the beautiful mountains and the river. Listen to the sounds of the river while cooking on our grill from our large wrap around deck which is partially screened in. This large private lot allows the peace and quite that vacationers desire.

Walk to your own private access to the Hiawassee River for fly fishing or spin fishing for trophy trout, bass, etc. Also enjoyed on the river is the excellent tubing or kayaking that our guest rave about. Sail boat, pontoon boat, jet ski rentals and some of the best fishing in Western North Carolina is all here on the Hiawassee River and Lake Chatuge.

Brasstown Valley Resort is a 10 minute drive away with a Championship Golf Course and a Spa. Also enjoy the central location to Murphy, Hiawassee and Franklin.

Our cabin is ideal for people of all ages. You will have the best vacation of your life! Whether or not you are playing pool enjoying our game room, relaxing on the hammock reading a book, or sitting in the hot tub, fishing for trophy trout, or simply enjoying solitude, this is the place for you!

  • What a get away. It was everything we hoped for and more. The river was awesome. Made our way up to Fires Creek, and it was awesome too. If you like nature, and the mountains this is definitely the place to stay. You can entertain yourselves just staying at the cabin, it is set up with something for everyone, from the pool table and darts to the stereo system,(bring your I-pod). Hot tub on the deck, tubes for tubing down the river, this place is a vacation waiting to happen. We would definitely recommend this to our friends. While we were out riding we went up and checked out the Dam and ran into an older man from Hayesville, and he told us about the area all around, pointing out the mountains by name to us, he was a jewel, so glad he happened to be there that day, he even invited us back to his house to look at some pictures, you don't find alot of people like him around anymore. I would call him lovingly an "Old Timer".

  • We had the best time at this cozy cabin on the mountain. It was just a short walk to the river and the fishing was excellent. I would recommend this lovely home to anyone wanting to spend a vacation relaxing in the clean air of the smokey mountains.
