Located in the private forested community of Redwood Meadows near the Elbow River our beautiful foothills home is at the centre of Alberta's beautiful destinations of Banff, Kananaskis Country and the city of Calgary. It boasts a no tree cutting policy and no fences and as a result the community lives in the forest next to the Elbow River with the natural flora and fauna! Redwood Meadows is a child friendly neighborhood with speed limits set at 30km/hr and it has plenty of playgrounds. The Canadian Rockies are 15 minutes West of the house, so there's no shortage of inspiration.
This is our family home and everything you need will be provided. It has been recently renovated in a warm oriental/modern style and has oodles of character. On the main level, the home has cherry wood and heated slate floors, rosewood and leather furniture, vaulted ceilings, an abundance of windows to view the forest and watch the kids and the abundant wildlife, a wood burning slate fireplace, modern gourmet kitchen and appliances, stone countertops, built in stereo speakers, modern stereo system, flat screen TV with surround sound. The dining area seats 8 and has a view to the back yard and deck. A pantry/utility room has lots of storage space and a washer and dryer attached to a half bath. The spacious deck and well treed yard have a new 8 person hot tub, BBQ, outdoor stereo speakers, fire pit and children's playhouse.
The upstairs is carpeted with 3 bedrooms. One children's room with bunk beds can sleep 2-4. A guest room with a queen bed done in African decor is conveniently located next to a similarly decorated full bath. The spacious master suite features a queen sleigh bed and the room is decorated in a sensuous oriental/modern style with built in speakers. The luxurious oriental en-suite bath is custom designed with slate floors, glass shower, Jacuzzi tub and his and hers sinks. The basement is fully developed kids recreation room, TV and a single person bedroom.

Why the Owner Chose Bragg Creek
This is our family home and we love being in nature. At the same time Redwood is only 25 minutes from the city when we need it. The slowed pace, trees, river and natural beauty make this area a rare gem in the Calgary area. We can stroll along the forest paths to the river, enjoy the well developed playgrounds, the tennis courts and the roller skating rink.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We enjoy watching the deer in the evenings, sometimes while sitting in our hot tub. Our living room provides a lovely spot to read by the fire or to entertain and our front room views of the forest are spectacular.
