Welcome to Fun at the Beach, Unit 1104, a recently remodeled condominium, where you will enjoy a relaxing and stress free vacation. Sit on the spacious private balcony for your morning coffee, or watch the many Dolphins swim by in the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. You want to see a beautiful sunset/sunrise? You’re challenged to find another as beautiful as the ones you will experience in Florida! All the while sitting on your own balcony without a single care of the daily “grind”. (Each room allows for entry onto the balcony without disturbing any other occupants in the unit.)
This unit sleeps 6/8 people; it is a 2BD/2BA unit, including a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, with a large lighted closet & a makeup area, and a connecting bathroom with a walk in shower. The guest room has two double beds, with a large closet and its own connecting bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo. There is a dining room, kitchen breakfast area and a snack bar with a view of the gulf. The living room has two chairs, the dining room table seats six, with an additional 2 seats in the breakfast area of the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and all the linens are supplied. Each bedroom, as well as the living room, has its own flat screen TV with a DVD player. The bedrooms and breakfast area has ceiling fans. Need to wash that beach wear? Sure! This unit is equipped with its own washer and dryer. In case you can’t completely get away, this unit boasts wireless internet at no additional charge.
About Surfside
Surfside Resort has inside air conditioned hall corridors and outside covered parking. Located on the first floor of the resort are several amenities. A fitness room provides any individual the opportunity continue with their workout schedule. Hungry, how about the onsite restaurant, Rick's Crab Trap? It caters to being family friendly with several menu items, ranging from seafood to hamburgers. How about an afternoon cocktail beside one of several pools? The Tiki Bar outside serves food and drinks, weather permitting. Sports enthusiast will love the outside tennis and basketball courts, with a sauna to aid those aching pains. There is plenty of room to sunbathe with a large sun deck out by the pools. Ready for the beach? A sky bridge takes you right onto the sandy white beaches. A beach set, which includes two chairs and one umbrella, is our gift to you and is provided at no additional charge. Your vehicle and your belongings are safe at Surfside with 24 hour security (not that it‘s needed).

Why the Owner Chose Surfside
We've owned our unit since 1994 and every year, fall more in love with our second home! Surfside is a family oriented resort with several amenities for an entire family to enjoy. We decided to purchase 3 rental units at Surfside because we truly take pleasure in providing such a fun, relaxing atmosphere for other families. We enjoy the area so much, that we spend every one of our summer's in Destin. One look at the beach and the beautiful waters of the Gulf, and you will understand why Surfside is such a staple in our lives.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
There are so many different activities to participate in in addition to just being at our beautiful beaches. Such things include, swimming in the heated pool, lounging in our 2 hot tubs or simply sunbathing on our sandy white beaches. Other outdoor activities include shuffle boarding, tennis, basketball courts and many other fun things. Inside the resort, we have an on site massage therapist, a delicious seafood restaurant, and a fitness center to help your stay be even more enjoyable. You have gorgeous views from the patios of the units themselves because of the unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. The water is so clear, that you can see dolphins at play! There is also an observation deck on the 3rd floor of the beach tower that takes you to the beaches where you can watch amazing sunrises and sunsets, should you choose to.

Millie and Tommy we live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Destin is our second home. Our family has been coming to Destin for years to vacation. Destin is so beautiful, we just love the area! So, we decided to purchase our own personal unit in 1994. We looked at several condo's, but I absolutely fell in love with Surfside. The design of Surfside is different than any other highrise resort in Destin. It's a very unique building. Every room has sliding glass doors that open onto a spacious balcony/patio with unobstructed views of the GULF OF MEXICO.

We stayed for 3 days at the end of September on our way to Disney. The condo was amazing and Millie was very pleasent and helpful. Our son loved the beach, easy access to a walkway so you didnt have to cross traffic. We would definately stay again. Thanks so much!!

Millie, I just want to say we loved the condo. We had a wonderful time. Both grandma's were perfectly comfortable and my 3 year old loved his first trip to the beach!! This was the perfect stop to break up the drive to Orlando!! Sorry we missed your call, but appreciate you checking on us!! Thanks again, I'm sure we will be back!!

Millie, Thanks so much for allowing Jack & I to stay at your condo and enjoy a "little piece of heaven". The views off the balcony is spectacular! We sure will miss opening the curtains & relaxing with a cup of coffee over-looking the ocean. Everything was perfect this week! Millie, We certainly enjoyed our stay here in Destin.The view from the balcony was great. We enjoyed watching everyone trek back and forth to the beach. We couldn't ask for better. Weather this year, the temps were above average February and March. See you again next year.
