Come and enjoy our lakefront home on pristine Lake Burton. Relax and savor the sunsets as you sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch, looking out over the lake and at the north Georgia mountains. This unique property is situated on 2 and 1/2 acres and has 550 feet of lake frontage, giving you unobstructed views and plenty of privacy. As you come down the wooded driveway, you will notice a large area for parking, playing basketball, and riding bikes for the kids. There is also a two car garage.
Walk along the pathway to the front porch, enjoying the view of the lake and boathouse. As you enter from the front porch, you come into a large dining room with a two story ceiling, picture windows with lake views and seating for 10. Straight ahead is the Great Room, containing a large stacked stone fireplace and entertainment system. To the left of the great room is a fully stocked kitchen where you can prepare a gourmet meal for your group. The kitchen also contains a breakfast area with a wood stove and beautiful lake and garden views. Off of the breakfast room is a large deck with seating, grills and beautiful views of the lake, garden and guesthouse. Conveniently located off of the kitchen is a half bath and laundry room.
There are three bedrooms on the main floor, including the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a sitting area, queen bed, and beautiful views of the lake. There is an en suite bathroom with a separate tub and shower. The additional two bedrooms on the main floor also each have their own full bathroom, one bedroom with a queen bed and the other with a convertible bed and full sized crib.
On the second floor there is a loft area with a single bed, a full bathroom and a large bedroom with two queen sized beds.
A covered walkway takes you from the main house to the garage. Above the garage is a large suite perfect for a couple looking to get away from the activity of the main house or for a small family. There is a full bathroom, sitting area with television, a queen bed, twin bed and a full sized crib. French doors lead out of the suite and onto a balcony overlooking the lake. Please note that this suite is very separate from the main house and is not suitable for unsupervised children.
Finally, if this isn't enough room for your family, there is a guest house on the property also available for rent. This cottage is 600 square feet and is fully heated and air conditioned. The main room contains large sitting area, table with four chairs and a queen sized bed. Sliding "barn" doors lead into an alcove containing a kitchen area with a sink, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. In this area are built in bunk bedrooms and entrance into the full bath. There is a small gas grill on the porch of the guesthouse.
In front of the main house is the boathouse. There is an upper area, partially covered, for dining and sunning and watching the boats go by. Adjacent to the boathouse is a "floating" dock, perfect for a swimming area. You can rent a boat and tie up to the boathouse. At the far end of the property is a stone staircase leading down to a swimming cove, perfect for the small children.

The Unique Benefits at this House
We rented a home on Lake Burton prior to purchasing this home and while we loved the lake, we hated the 128 stairs from the house to the lake!!! We found that many homes had great views, but lots of stairs. When we purchased this property, we loved the fact that the house is almost level with the boathouse, less than 50 feet from the lake with 550 feet of lake frontage and a swimming cove.

Our names are Paul and Judy Faletti. We purchased our home in September of 1992 and since that time have completed a complete renovation of the entire property. We are natives of Atlanta, but spend about half of our time at Lake Burton. Paul is a homebuilder and Judy is an interior decorator, so we have used our respective talents to truly make this home a one of a kind getaway. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren, so this home is made to be very family friendly and comfortable.
