Location: East Glacier Park, Glacier National Park, Montana, USA (At the Intersection of Hwy 89 and the Going to the Sun Road) View Map
Accommodations: Cottage, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 4-6)
This deluxe cottage overlooks the east entrance to Glacier National Park's famed Going-to-the-Sun Road at the St. Mary entrance. Expansive views of St. Mary Lake and the towering peaks of Glacier Park await you from the deck and living room of the cottage, while the comforts of home are at your fingertips. St. Mary Montana is located on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation on the boundary of Glacier National Park. This little town offers a few restaurants and some shopping, but the setting is rural.
We have an arrangement with the KOA Campground Resort just one mile away so you can use their brand new heated pool and hot tub during your stay. It's nice! It is available June 1 to September 10.
You can find more information on Glacier National Park at their website. Also check out their webcam at the St. Mary entrance. This is the same view you will have from your cottage deck!

Why the Owner Chose East Glacier Park
We love Glacier Park!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
The benefits are boundless, but solitude tops the list. Glacier Park is a true wilderness park and the hiking is amazing. Also, there is great fishing nearby at Duck Lake and white water rafting is a quick 2 hour drive.
This is the main entrance into Glacier National Park. Entrance fee info is on their website. Fishing in Glacier Park is free.
Check in at the front desk and let them know you're staying with us. Pool is heated, hot tub is clean and huge!
Best chance to see grizzly bears. Locals call it the valley of the bears. Check out the historic Many Glacier Hotel or jump on the Glacier Park Boat Company tour at the dock. This is my favorite boat
Free hiker shuttle picks up here. Also interpretive center, bookstore and information from National Park Rangers.
Approximately 1 hour drive from St. Mary. Great day trip.
Great visitor center with a lot of information on the glaciers. Also the trailhead for both the Hidden Lake Trail and the Highline Trail. Both of these are easy hiking.
Doesn't show a road but there is one. This area is about 20 minutes from St. Mary. Great views, great hikes and you can see several glaciers from the hotel lobby.
Owner's Map of East Glacier Park
Owned by the Black Family who first owned and operated the historic St. Mary Lodge and Resort. While the Resort sold in 2007, the Black Family kept this cottage that sits up on the hill above St. Mary.
