Welcome to "Villa Punta Aguila 44," a gorgeous new villa in one of Casa de Campo Resort's oldest and most exclusive oceanfront neighborhoods directly on the world famous "Teeth of the Dog" Golf Course designed and developed by Pete Dye himself. Known for its tropical breezes and secluded privacy, "PA44" is complete with 5 bedrooms, 5 full en-suite baths, and two guest baths. Located on the “Teeth of the Dog’s” 14th tee, PA44 includes indoor and outdoor water features, a 2-story waterfall wall, 70-foot blue tiled pool and 20-person Jacuzzi. The light and airy Gran Sala is a 2-story open living area with custom large scale wood and glass sliding doors that tuck carefully into hidden wall pockets. The entire space opens completely for seamless indoor/outdoor "Caribbean style" living surrounded by the pool, Jacuzzi, gazebo and golf course.
The Master suite on the second floor and has its own private deck with ocean views, and oversized master bath with a double shower and multi-person Jacuzzi plus his and hers cedar closets. The Guest House Suite is separate from the house, opening onto the far side of the pool with its own private outdoor garden shower. Three additional guest suites have en-suite baths with floor-to-ceiling custom “Corolina” marble tiled showers. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and ceiling fans.
The expansive pool has a submerged tanning ledge with infinity edge alongside the 20-person Jacuzzi, perfect for entertaining, as is the outdoor gazebo with wet bar and grill. The media and dining rooms provide an air-conditioned retreat for dining or perhaps an evening of watching movies. The Gourmet chef kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and an island with Wolf brand stove/oven, commercial refrigerator and wine storage. The 2 bedroom & bath service quarters and laundry area, are separated from the main house. My extended family and I just stayed here. Many adults and kids. What a wonderful place for a great, peaceful and luxurious family reunion. The staff at the villa is beyond attentive. If you want to enjoy a week or more without a worry, this is the place.

We visited during spring break, 2011 and had the time of our lives! I, at first, was worried that the villa could not be as wonderful as the pictures show, but they honestly do not even come close to doing it justice! It was so much nicer than we could ever have imagined!!! The home is beautiful, and very relaxing and comfortable. As large and as open as it is, I was worried that it would be somewhat cold and uninviting ...... but the exact opposite is true. We were all extremely comfortable and felt immediately at home! The staff is also amazing. Each of them worked very hard to make sure that our stay was exceptional and they surpassed our greatest expectations. And, to be honest, the food that our cook prepared was beyond delicious, and always excellently preented and served! We had planned to go out to dinner at least three times during our stay, but we only made it once. We knew that nothing could compare to the meals that were prepared for us in our own home, and it was so much more relaxing! I honestly cannot think of enough wonderful things to say about our stay at this amazing villa and the incredible resort. We will definitely be back as many times as possible and I have recommended it to all of our friends. Also, Kathleen and David, the owners, are beyond fantastic. They made sure that every need was met, including airport transportation, excursion arrangements, golf cart rentals, food provisions/procurement, and dinner recommendations / reservations. They were in contact with us from the very beginning and we felt as if we had our own private concierge service. Again, the experience was phenominal, the home is magnificent, and the resort is amazing! You will absolutely love it!!!

I have stayed at this property twice and planning to visit again this year. The villa itself has a great layout and mixes indoor and outdoor areas in perfect harmony. The kitchen is huge and is equipped to handle large parties. Master bedroom is very comfortable with an amazing HUGE bathroom that includes dual showers and a large yacuzzi (my fav!). Property owners live inside casa de campo and where very friendly to us and catered to all out needs. The Landscaping of the property is also great. Overall staying at PA44 has been a very positive experience for my family and close friends.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
