Four of us stayed in this wonderful villa for 5 nights and would love to return for a longer stay. The location is perfect--far from the traffic of San Juan, close to Rincon with its restaurants and amenities, and, best of all, right on the beach! We loved walking the beach in the mornings, watching the iguanas which seemed to be everywhere, eating on the little patio, seeing the ocean from almost every window. Carlos and Vivian have beautifully decorated and furnished their condo. The beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of water pressure for showers, there were enough kitchen tools to cook simple meals, and the condo complex was very quiet. We did have a difficult time finding Punta del Mar the first night--a better map or detailed directions would be a good thing to have. We were disappointed that the pool was closed--it was a lovely pool in a lovely setting and we had been looking forward to using it. Overall it was a beautiful and serene place to experience Puerto Rico for the first time. Highly recommended!

Paradise at Villa Las Olas!

My husband, our teenaged daughter and I total and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carlos and Vivian's gorgeous villa! This was our first time renting through VRBO, and I can assure you that this beautiful piece of paradise is exactly as pictured - there were no surprises! Carlos was very kind and helpful as we planned our trip. Carlos handled the financial matters very professionally. When we arrived at Villa Las Olas, we felt as though we had, "come home" - the villa is perfect - well appointed, clean, kid friendly, and located in close proximity to everything! The beach located at the Villa is very rough and is not great for swimming - but a quick walk up the beach leads you to, "Sandy Beach" - a great location - complete with smooth sand, beautiful waves, umbrella rental, even a restaurant/bar right on the beach. The master (canopy) bed was wonderful - the breezes and sound of the nearby waves was magical. Our only disappointment was that the pool was closed for our entire stay. (~that, and that we had to leave!) We very highly recommend renting from Carlos and Vivian, and hope that our schedule permits us to return next year.

Second visit just as good as last year!

This villa is truly a treasure! The views of the water, the sounds of the waves, the magnificent sunsets, and the beauty of the grounds all make this area such a paradise! This was our second stay at the villa and we stayed a bit longer this year. It is very comfortably furnished and feels like home away from home. It was a special treat this year to discover the path over to Sandy Beach. We were able to walk to several restaurants and shops. Carlos, the owner, delivered a bicycle to us as he promised. It was great to actually meet him! The development is very bicycle friendly...a great way to spot iguanas! We will definitelly go back a third time!

Fabulous Place - great private beach and a very comfortable townhome

We spent 5 days here and wished we could have stayed longer. This is a gated community on a private beach. We loved the beach and the townhome was roomy with nice accomodations. We found a lot to do in the area - surfing, hiking, snorkeling. It is a 2.5 hour drive from San Juan but well worth the trip to find peace, quiet, warm water, and sunshine. We loved our vacation here.

Second time, more wonderful than the first!

This was our second time staying in this amazing unit. We celebrated my birthday with family and friends. The unit was just as nice as the first time we stayed. This time we stayed a week. We had an amazing time snorkeling at Steps Beach. This location is perfect, its close to Rincon and Aguada. My 4 yr old loved Crashboats. We will definately be returning!

Perfect!

My husband, 18 month old son and I stayed here for almost three weeks and loved it. Very tricky to find in the dark, but once we found it we fell in love. Clean, spacious and toddler friendly. The beach is your backyard and a short walk down the beach takes you to yoga and several great restaurants. We barbecued often and sat outside enjoying our food and cocktails once our son went to bed. We also had friends stay with us a few nights and the condo is perfect for two couples. We highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back next year.

Relaxing Atmosphere, Beautiful Beaches, Beautiful Home

Had a wonderful 15 day stay. Location was great. The Villa was perfect for 4 adults. Beach was steps away from home, loved listening to the waves. Smoke alarms were not working, when we arrived. Replaced all batteries. The pool area, was in need of more umbrellas. Only one there! Very few people at pool though. A lot of vacant units in this development. Overall a great vacation. Loved this side of Puerto Rico. People friendly, little traffic, food excellent, and great variety of beaches. Would highly reco mmend this Villa for family looking for relaxation.

Just got back home from wonderful stay at this villa Las Olas at Punta Del Mar, Rincon. Even better than we anticipated. The photos on web are accurate. First rate villa construction and decor. Very quiet,secluded and beautiful beach and grounds. Very manicured landscaping. Peaceful stay. One concern was maintenence of pool. Water very clean looking, but no vacuuming of debris during our week there.Rincon area was a delight. Would return again.
