This apartment is in the condominium complex called Marbella del Caribe right on Puerto Rico's Isla Verde beach, noted to be the best beach in San Juan. Located in the heart of the Isla Verde tourist area, we are surrounded by restaurants, shopping and the fabulous El San Juan Hotel and Casino, as well as the Intercontinental Hotel, The Ritz Carlton Hotel and the Embassy Suites. Water sports, including jet skis, banana boats and parasailing, are available right on our beach. The complex offers 24-hour security, beach access, and beautiful, private grounds that include a swimming pool, tennis court, volleyball/basketball court, playground, picnic tables and barbecues. Each apartment has its own private parking space on the premises. The complex also has a mini market. There is a bus stop right in front of the building. There is a vast array of restaurants from casual to formal within a few short blocks. There are several supermarkets, numerous souvenir shops, Charlie Car Rental and a Walgreens that is open 24 hours and has just about everything one could need from food, to beauty supplies, to beach gear. In addition, we are about 5 minutes from San Juan's International Airport: Luis Munos Marin Airport and only 15 minutes away from Condado and 20 minutes from Old San Juan.

I stayed for a week in May and had a wonderful time. The owner was very accomodating and everything that he describes about the condo is true and up to par. The location is very good and within walking distance to a variety of restaurants, hotels, etc. The beach of the condo were very close and perfect for enjoying a day at the beach. The location puts you in the midle of all that Isla Verde has to offer. This condo is a no-brainer for the price relative to the cost of staying at some of the local hotels that are literally next door to the condo. Walking distance to grocery stores, drug stores (Walgreens), bars/restaurants, etc. are all there. We would highly recommend this to others looking to vacation in Puerto Rico!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children.

The Marbella East building lobby,grounds,pool and beach accurate. Rental appearance old and well worn.At best, I would rate it on a scale of 1-10 a 3. Not as listed as newly remoldeled and has some safety issues. Not enough linens and not properly cleaned.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car.

Definetely, is the best choice, completly furnished, beach access is great, the bed is the best California King....
