  I have vacationed at countless residences between Treasure Island and Indian Rocks Beach for all of my life; 50 years. Without question, this unit is the most lovely residence that I have ever stayed in. The work that has been done to this unit is of the highest quality. Every available amenity is included right down to toiletries. This unit is a must for every vacationer and cannot be compared to any other. The owners are personable, accommodating and are an all around pleasure to deal with.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  This was our third time to rent this beautiful beach condo and it remains clean, maintained and Vicki is great to work with. The furniture, dishes and linens are nice quality which makes your vacation feel special. Each time you walk into the condo, you see the view of the ocean - its so calming. There are many restaurants close by and we chose a few new ones this year, The Marlin Darlin Grill in Bellair Bluffs is a gem as well as The Cracker Barrel in St. Pete's. We have rebooked for next year!

  This is the third time we have stayed with Vicki and John. Note I mentioned the owners by name because from the first visit Vicki made us feel like we were part of her family by creating such an incredibly welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in to this beach condo. Immediately you feel both right at home yet also as if you were the first to ever stay there because everything is so well maintained, beautifully decorated, newly renovated and stocked with more than you could ask for. We have never gone looking for something we didn't find - and usually found some more stuff we didn't realize we might need!! I know it's difficult to narrow down your search for the 'perfect' spot to stay during your vacation. After looking at several dozen(or hundred)properties, they all swim together. This is the one. It is quiet, safe, the beach is literally right next to the pool, the ocean is lovely, you can walk the beach for hours in each direction, there are restaurants close by and the people are so friendly. We have seen pelicans, dolphins, many different birds and of course several gorgeous cranes. The sunsets will take your breath away. We watch them every night from the pool deck, the beach or the balcony - they truly never become old. As I said, always perfect.

  My wife and I stayed in your lovely condo this year for our first Spring Break without kids. What a beautiful place. The condo was decorated wonderfully and it was immaculate. We have come to the Indian Shores area of Florida for years and will definitely plan on staying here again. It was by far the nicest unit we have ever stayed in. Couldn't have asked for more. With the Salt Rock Grill within walking distance that was also a plus. You have definitely earned a 5 star rating!!

  Have stayed at Chateaux many times, but this is by far and away the most beautiful unit. Everything once could possibly need was available, and the unit impeccably clean. We were even given a welcome phone call by the the owner upon arrival! The weather was perfect and the beach pristine. We enjoyed wonderful restaurants all withing a short drive. Highly recommend this unit to anyone considering coming to Chateaux. Thanks John and Vicki:)

  We patiently waited a year to return to this well kept and beautiful condo so we could enjoy its many amenities. As soon as you walk in, the view of the beach and Gulf starts your vacation! We even had the enjoyment of watching dolphins swim by on a regular basis. We revisited many of the restaurants along Gulf Blvd as well as in St. Pete's. We also found several golf courses nearby that had great greens and rental prices. The Indian Shores Coffee House is excellent and has a Canadian connection. You'll enjoy great coffee and fresh muffins to start your day! They even display a can of Tim Horton coffee in "case of emergencies". Vicki goes out of her way to help make your vacation enjoyable. We have rebooked for next year and our wait begins again!

  Have been lucky enough to have had many trips to USA and everthing about our week made it one of our best. The condo itself is of exceptional quality, fitted to a very high standard, short of nothing and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed many an hour relaxing on the balcony enjoying the view of the fabulous beach below. The location is superb, pleanty close by but also an ideal base for touring around. We dined at Salt Rock Grill across road three times and were impressed each time. The near by coffee house was terrific for home made bread and cakes. Our last visit to this coast was over 10 years ago but will not wait that long to return and will stay no where else but this condo.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We had the pleasure of celebrating our 25 wedding anniversary at this property. We have stayed at this property on several occasions and without a doubt, this is the nicest unit. The kitchen is a chef's dream. It is fully equipped and allowed us to be at home while at the beach. The room is tastefully decorated and perfect for a romantic week. We plan on coming back next year for 26.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

  When we told our friends where we were going for vacation, many questioned why we were returning to not only the same place, but the same condo. My husband told them that "it was the perfect accommodations, the perfect beach, and the perfect pool. Why would I want to go somewhere else?" We both feel this way and are here now enjoying everything, and will be here again next year! When you walk in to this beach paradise you feel both completely at home and yet, because it is so clean and well looked after, like you are the first ones to stay there. We have had exceptional weather, made new friends and re-kindled last years' acquaintances. All of this done while strolling the baby-powder fine sand, collecting darling little shells and 'racing' crabs as they hustle along the beach with us. Again this year we took pictures of sunsets and of the majestic crane that poses for us every night as the sun goes down. I emailed some pics from our vacation to my parents and realized that I likely could have sent some from last year and she would have enjoyed them equally - after all - how do you improve upon perfection? I should mention that there are many spots to try for a night out that are very close by, but try not to miss a trip to the Salt Rock Grill. You can walk there easily from the condo and it is a special treat! Vicki has done everything possible to ensure your vacation is everything you wish for and is a perfect hostess for such a wonderful place. We leave our sunblock, kindle and ipad by the pool on our towels and lounge chairs and swim in the ocean not worrying one bit about them being taken. It is secure, well maintained and everyone staying here seems to look after everyone else while we are all here. Come out, do yourself a huge favour, and have some much needed 'beach therapy'! We LOVE it here!!!

  As soon as you walk into the condo, the view is breathtaking! Posh and romantic describes this unit perfectly! This upscale condo has numerous details; granite, stone, controlled lighting, high end appliances and furnishings. My husband appreciated the 52" plasma tv & was able to keep up with his sports especially hockey while on holidays! We've rented homes in Venice, Rotanda & Clearwater in the past but found this condo very well situated. You are able to walk to many shops and restaurants and then walk back along the beautiful beach. Everyone you meet is friendly and helpful. Our vacation was wonderful, full of memories, sights and we won't forget the sound of the waves while sitting on the patio! We will be returning next year!
