This charming, Spanish-style 3-bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom home is located within minutes of La Jolla Shores Beach in a quiet neighborhood known as Barcelona in La Jolla Colony. Overlooking the greenbelt and with luscious tropical landscaping you are truly living in a "Garden Paradise."
The lower floor features hardware floors throughout. Downstairs are the formal living room, formal dining room, kitchen and family room, as well as indoor laundry, ½ bath and attached 2-car garage. Both the dining room and family room have french doors which open out to the patios and garden. A hammock is set up in the back patio for your enjoyment.
In the upper level you will find the master bedroom suite with 2 large closets. The second bedroom is large enough to accommodate a queen sized bed. The third bedroom has a bunkbed with a double bunk on the bottom and looks out over the greenbelt. The 3rd bathroom is off the hallway between the second and third bedrooms.
This lovely home also features a beautifully landscaped garden, overlooking the greenbelt, complete with brick lined patio, gazebo and pond.
Relax, enjoy the proximity to everything including the 5, 805 and 52 freeways. The Beach, Scripps Aquarium, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Wild Animal Park, Legoland, movies, shopping, and Mexico are nearby (don't forget your passport). Disneyland is a little over an hour away. Surfing, sailing, kayaking, scuba, and jet-skiing are just around the corner.
A beautiful park with trails and pathways for strolling or running is just outside your backyard. There are 2 gated community pools in the neighborhood both very well maintained. The University of California, San Diego is only two minutes away.
This home has been well maintained and is in move-in condition. Enjoy San Diego at its finest with gardens and nearby beach, yet live in a peaceful and tranquil setting.

Why the Owner Chose Barcelona at La Jolla Colony
Our family likes to vacation in La Jolla and we wanted to have a home that was kid and family friendly - games, videos, tv, garden, pool, nearby park, shopping and beach.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is on the greenbelt so the views outside are of a lovely park. There is a walking path nearby to an even bigger park for joggers and strollers. There's even a dog park nearby. The beach is only a five minute drive and there is no traffic getting in and out of La Jolla Colony unlike the downtown La Jolla locations. We love the close access to highway 5 so we can be downtown or at the zoo or Sea World in minutes and yet we are also close to the beach in La Jolla. :-)
