This ultimate vacation home is located in Aspen's most desirable and exclusive West End. Jack Nicolson's, Lance Armstrong's homes are a few blocks away and it has been a rental home to famous authors and speakers from around the world. The house is immaculately furnished and you will enjoy every luxury detail from over sized towels, to flat screens and DVD's in the bedrooms. Optional maid service is available. We want to ensure our guests have a wonderful vacation experience.
This charming home has two separate bedroom wings with a total of 6 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths. The first wing has 3 bedrooms all with vaulted ceilings: a master bedroom with a king bed, gas fireplace,large walk-in closet, spacious marble bathroom with double vanity, separate bath and walk in steam shower; the second bedroom has a four adult size bunks; the third bedroom is a queen facing south onto Aspen Mountain. In the second wing, which if needed has its own separate entrance there is a master bedroom and deck over looking Aspen Mountain, steam shower. The second bedroom in this wing is a large room with a 50 inch Sony screen and two beds (but it can be converted to a media room only if desired), the third bedroom a-joins this room with a double over double bunk and a single pull out). This is a fantastic home for groups as the second wing allows ample privacy. It is also the perfect family home, and we can provide a crib, kids toys and much more to make the whole family feel welcome. We offer this as it is hard to travel with all the extras these days. The fenced in back yard has trampoline, sandpit and playhouse.
Skylights and windows provide all day sunshine and Aspen Mountain views. A real wood burning fireplace in the living room creates your perfect mountain ambiance. Lay in the large outside Jacuzzi on your very private deck and enjoy the rocky mountain stars. Double garage and separate entrance mudroom. It is very private home with no direct neighbors. It is rare corner lot with an empty lot next door. The house at almost 5,000 square feet provides plenty of room. The lot is over 6,000 square feet.
The home is a 5-10 minute stroll to town and to the music tent. It sits opposite a quiet park and 2 blocks from Aspen's favorite children's park. The home is surrounded by beautiful pole pines and flower gardens. The backyard is fenced with six foot high fencing making it perfect for pets and /or children. Air conditioning is the final touch to this fantastic turn-key residence. Winter or Summer this is the perfect getaway vacation home.
The property is an outstanding rental opportunity. It is perfectly located for easy access to all of Aspen's many amenities, which include: five-ten minute walk to Aspen's famous Music tents, ten-fifteen minute walk to Ajax (Aspen mountain) ski lift, and minutes away from walking, running, hiking, biking trails. Other areas of interest can be accessed by using the complimentary Cross Town Shuttle which conveniently passes in front of the house every 30 minutes. The bus to Snowmass, Highlands, buttermilk is a half block away and runs every 1/2 hour. Don't worry about mountain parking or parking tickets from this central location.
Pets are considered on a case by case basis. Enclosed back yard is perfect for pets and children.

We used to stay in hotels and resorts around Aspen until we found this house...We were very skeptical about leaving the comfort and convenience of a hotel for a house, but in the end we were very surprised and amazed about our stay there. We stayed in this house in February 2010 and we are going back this coming Christmas!!! The house is spacious, well located, clean, well-maintained, and feels like home! It accomodated all of us very nicely, and there was still plenty of room left, and that's a lot to say when we were 6 adults and 5 kids... Close to town and the ski areas, the location is indeed PERFECT. The neighborhood is quiet and upscale. It felt great to be able to walk around at any given time of the day or night, and know that the kids could be playing in the yard with minimal supervision. The house is situated on a corner lot and the streets are not busy. One of the best things about this house is the owner, she is very helpful and available!!! Her housekeeper is great and provided services as good as any high-end hotel. I would recommend this house to anyone considering renting a house in Aspen.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

I recently hosted a wonderful vacation for a group of seven adults at this property. We had a great time staying at this clean home, which carries its original charm complemented with attractive updates. The rooms are all well appointed and the kitchen blends state-of-the art amenities with warm wooden cabinets and granite counter tops. Adult guests or families with small children will all enjoy the many features of this property. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a trouble-free vacation with the convenience of a well-appointed house on a quiet street just a short walk from Aspen’s shopping dinning and nightlife.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This house is a stunner! We had a very big group to accomodate and this home did it in style, luxury and tons of space. It's decorated to the "Nth" degree with comfort and quality and was one of those places where you just felt at home....a really, really nice home. We walked a couple of nights into town for dinner after skiing and some cocktails and it still only took ten minutes. You could easily have several couples or a few families of four stay here and never feel crowded and have plenty of space to socialize as well. a real bonus - a bathroom for every single bdroom in the house, which there are several. The owner is super and a real pro - you'll have a good experience renting this home!
