  • WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME! WE USED THIS HOUSE AS A MEETING PLACE. OUR SON AND HIS FAMILY CAME OVER FROM LOUISIANA AND WE MET THEM THERE. IT WAS A HALF WAY POINT FOR US. WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOME AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD. IT WAS VERY CLEAN WHEN WE ARRIVED AND READY FOR US. THERE WAS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR 9 PEOPLE. MY HUBSAND AND I ESPECIALLY ENJOYED OUR COFFEE EVERY MORNING OUTSIDE OUR BEDROOM DOOR ON THE TOP PATIO. IT WAS SO CENTRALLY LOCATED TO EVERYTHING WE WANTED TO DO.     We had six of us in this house for five nights, and it was wonderful! It was roomy, in a great neighborhood and wonderfully decorated. My children especially loved the game room – it kept them occupied for hours! Plus, the owner has put a variety of other games that we loved to play at night on the big kitchen table. We hardly watched the two big screen TVs at all, although they were set up with lots of channels. This is a wonderful alternative to being in the crowded part of Gulf Shores where there are cars zooming by and crowds. Everything was just 5 to 10 minutes away, though, if you wanted to get out and about after your day at the beach. We even went over to Orange Beach for a dolphin tour, and even on a Saturday that drive only took us about 20 minutes. Another plus it it’s closer to Lamberts and the Outlet Mall, two of our favorite non-beach activities in the area. You’ll love this house. Save your money and get something five times bigger than an expensive hotel room! The Greer-LeComte family (July 2009).
