Main level description: When you walk through the front door of our home, you will immediately become aware of the loving attention to detail that went into the renovation of it. The materials throughout the home are what you would expect to see in Beaver Creek and Vail including hardwood, slate, stone tile, marble and granite slab surfaces as well as alder cabinetry, trim and doors – giving the home the feeling and ambience of a true mountain lodge. There is also extensive artwork throughout the home with several original pieces.
The main level is an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining room and living room all interacting with each other. The living room has a comfortable leather couch with an accompanying love seat, antique coffee table and other seating, all oriented toward a lifelike gas fireplace and entertainment center surrounded by native Colorado stone and anchored by a wide stone hearth. The entertainment center includes a 46” Sony flat screen TV and stereo with full surround sound, DVD, CD, VHS players and cable TV with DVR feature. There is also high speed wireless internet throughout the home.
Adjacent to this area is a game table where chess, checkers, cards and many other family games can be played. This space has vaulted ceilings, accented by a wrought iron chandelier. In this area and throughout the home, you will find richly lacquered exposed beams that compliment the hand-troweled wall texture and warm patina glazing, which give the home an old world European charm.
The dining area is outfitted with a large wood and iron table with 8 leather and wood chairs. Overhead is a moose antler chandelier. Both this area and the living room have warm oriental rugs under foot that nicely compliment the furnishings.
The gourmet kitchen has all the cooking utensils that a true chef could want. The appliances are all stainless steel including a gas stove. The counters are slab granite and include an eating bar with 3 bar stools.
There is also a large, south facing deck with flower planters overlooking the golf course and the aspen filled mountains beyond. There is a large wrought iron deck table with 6 chairs as well as a chaise lounge, all with comfortable designer cushions. For your outdoor cooking pleasure, there is also a Weber gas grill.
Rounding out the main level is a cedar paneled hot tub room with a tub that will comfortably fit up to 5 adults. This room has a pass through opening to the kitchen where cold beverages can be passed to those enjoying the tub.
Bedroom descriptions: There are two master bedroom suites on the upper level, each with its own full bath including marble counters and spa-like marble tile showers with European style shower doors. All of the bathroom fixtures and door hardware are oil rubbed bronze. One of the bedrooms has a king size bed with a decorative wood headboard, the other has a California king with a leather and wood head and footboard. Both beds have designer lodge-style bedding with overstuffed pillows and down comforters. One of the bedrooms has a small deck with atrium doors and windows that look out to the 2nd fairway of the Eagle-Vail golf course. Each of the 4 bedrooms in the home has flat panel TV’s and DVD players for in-suite entertainment.
The bedrooms downstairs are at garden level with plenty of natural light and consist of another large master bedroom with a wrought iron king size bed while the second bedroom has a log bunk bed with a full size bed below and a single above. There is also a full size trundle bed. This room is a favorite for kids but can comfortably accommodate a couple or up to 3 single adults. These bedrooms are connected by a common bath with counters and bath walls finished in stone tile.

Why the Owner Chose Beaver Creek
Our family has owned this duplex for almost 20 years and though we have owned other homes in the Vail Valley, we love our Eagle-Vail duplex the best and recently completely renovated this property from the studs out since we could not imagine living anywhere else. One of the main reasons our family has continued to enjoy our home in Eagle-Vail for all these years is all the wonderful amenities in our community and our location in between Beaver Creek and Vail. Being only 5 minutes to Beaver Creek and less than 10 minutes to Vail, makes it easy to wait for the morning snow report before deciding which mountain to ski that day. Our duplex is also on the bus route to Vail, Beaver Creek or Avon and the bus stop is only a 5 minute walk away.
The Unique Benefits at this Duplex
Eagle-Vail includes one of the best golf courses in the valley with several holes laid out along the banks of the Eagle River. There is also a par-3 course, clubhouse with a fine-dining restaurant and an outstanding practice range. In addition to golf, summer amenities include a community pool, several tennis courts, many pocket parks and children’s playgrounds as well as a new trail that is being built along the south side of the community that will connect to the fantastic hiking and mountain biking trails that already exist between Eagle-Vail and Beaver Creek. These trails meander through lush aspen forests and along rushing streams with incredible vegetation that you would only expect to find in a rain forest. One can hike or bike all the way to Beaver Creek on these trails and they are truly some of the nicest trails in the entire valley. If you love to fly fish or kayak, it is an easy 5 minute walk from our home to the Eagle River. There are also excellent bike paths that extend from our property all the way to Vail or Beaver Creek. Winter activities include cross country skiing on well maintained trails on the golf course, sledding for the kids on the steep golf cart path coming down from the clubhouse, and snowshoe treks into the snow covered forests.
This trail is a little known secret in the valley. It starts at the 18th hole of the Eagle Vail golf course and meanders through lush Aspen forests and along rushing streams all the way to Beaver C
A favorite trail for mountain biking and hiking, this trail offers both incredible views of the Gore range and Vail ski area and access to incredible single track trails that wind through thick Aspen
The Avon Bakery has delicious breakfast sandwiches and burritos as well as fresh bagels and an assortment of baked goods including artisan breads that are made fresh on premises each day.
The Beaver Creek area has a host of restaurants, shops and attractions including miniature golf, bungee trampoline jumping, kids' club, and many events such as art and food festivals, Oktoberfest, etc
Edwards has really grown into its own destination over the years with many excellent restaurants, shops and its location along the Eagle River makes it scenic and enjoyable. It has the best sushi
This is another great breakfast spot on your way to Vail. Simply exit the West Vail exit off I-70 and access the north frontage road to the Holiday Inn Resort.
Minturn has a great Farmer's Market on the weekends in the summer. It also has some interesting shops and good restaurants including the Minturn Saloon (Mexican).
Naturally Vail has world class restaurants and shops. Some of our favorites in Vail are Pepi's (German cuisine), La Tour (French bistro), Sweet Basil (Bistro - Fine Dining), Kelly Liken (Fine Dining)

My wife Katie and I have been coming to the Vail Valley as often as possible since we got married in the Beaver Creek chapel over 11 years ago. Our two children John Philip (3) and Maria (6) are learning how to ski and they get so excited every time we tell them we are going to our "Vail House".
