Wonderfully appointed approximately 800 sq ft. apartment in a beautiful 1907 craftsman style home. The house has views of Green Lake and is only a 30 second walk to the lake and park. Green Lake was voted “Best Place to People Watch” by local TV program Evening Magazine’s The Best of Western Washington and Northwest Escapes. The apartment is very private located in the basement with its own entry and closed off from the main house. It has high ceilings and many windows for abundant natural light. Sound board insulation is used throughout for a relaxing level of quietness. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. Heated floors in the bathroom add an additional touch of luxury. The cozy living room is outfitted with a 32” High Def LCD flat screen TV. The kitchen is well equipped for your cooking needs and lets you live like a local or if you decide to go out the place is situated just a 5 minutes walk from restaurants, bars and cafes in both directions.
Residents also have access to the garden which includes a covered hot tub, fountain, Weber grill and grape vine covered pergola with dining table. The apartment is located 10 minutes north of downtown and within two minutes walk to bus lines 16, 316, and 48 for easy access to town. Seattle can definitely keep you busy and interested but you may want to explore and hike in the North Cascades and Mount Rainier National Parks where natural beauty abounds. Why wait? I love living on Greenlake and the outstanding quality of life it affords. It is close to downtown to easily access the city's offerings and is a fairly short drive into the Cascade Mountains to enjoy nature. I hope my guests will enjoy the accommodations, location and all that Seattle has to offer.
