The house was completly remodeled in 2006 with upstairs additions and offers a simple elegance that is comforatble to live in. This 3 bedroom / 2 bath is perfect for a family or even 2 families traveling together. The downstairs is 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, with a queen bad in one of the bedrooms and 2 twin beds in the other. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter tops and full size Fridgidaire appliances such as; fridge/freezer, professional gas top stove, and dishwasher; along with microwave, toaster oven, and double sink.
The downstairs living room is equiped with flat screen Sony TV, SKY TV satellite, DVD player and surround sound. The laundry room has a washer, dryer, and additional sink. There is also an outdoor gas grill BBQ for cook outs. Outdoor shower and pool for cooling off or enjoying the sunset.
The upstairs has a separate private entrance and consists of the master bedroom and master bath with queen size bed, TV area, and personal office with built in granite desk. The master bathroom consists of; Jacuzzi tub, large walk-in double headed shower, walk-in closet/dry room. There is also a 3rd floor Look-out Mirador that can be used as an additional bedroom with a couple extra mattresses.

Why the Owner Chose Dominical
We loved Dominical and the surrounding area from our first visit in 2000. We saw toucans everywhere and surfed with dolphins our first trip to this sleepy beach town. Ever since we continued to travel here on vacation until deciding to buy a vacation home here. The Southern Zone and Dominical are the most beautiful areas in all of Costa Rica. After traveling many years up and down the Pacific coast we were amazed by the lush tropical mountain landscapes that fell into the ocean offering dramatic views and scenery. The house has since been drastically remodeled from the simple 2 bed/1 bath it used to be into a 3,200 sqft luxury estate residence.

As for activities, we can arrange all adventure tours, sport fishing charters, and surf lessons. There is a ton to do here in the rain forest from zip-lines through the canopy to horseback rides to the Nauyaca Waterfall. There is world-class sport fishing out of Dominicalito that consistently pull in Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna, and Wahoo. Diving and Snorkeling, Whale and Dolphin tours, boat trips to the Osa Natioal Park with Hiking, and numerous others can be arranged. Whether it’s the best ceviche in Costa Rica from a roadside stand or fine dining experiences, the Dominical area offers every type of restaurant in between. Upscale, but affordable places such as: La Parcela and Cuna del Angel near Dominiclito or Café Exotica and Citrus in Ojachal. Tortilla Flats, Confusiones, and El Coco’s in Dominical are laid back local spots with big portions and good prices. There is also amazing Sushi with the freshest local ingredients in Dominical.

Keith Kanter is an Endodontist from Orlando, FL and purchased the home as a vacation residence for him and his family. He has since remodeled the original 2 bed/1 bath simple house into a 3 level 3 bed/2 bath luxury estate home. He travels here 3 times per year to relax and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the "Pura Vida" lifestyle. He also visits his son, daughter-in-law, and young granddaughter, who all live in Costa Rica near by and manage the property while he is away. Keith had been traveling to Costa Rica since 1998, and on one of many trips to Dominical in 2003, decided to purchase a simple 'fixer upper' with amazing views. The rest as they say is history.
