Siesta de Mayo Cottage is a relaxing getaway with old world charm and gardens. Park your car and enjoy walking or biking everywhere...the beach (5 min),town (2 min)and enjoy some down time. Siesta Beach is rated one of the top ten beaches in the USA. Siesta Village is noted for its great restaurants, nightlife, great music venue, shopping and we must not forget Olaf's Ice Cream store, a local favorite.
There are three units:
Siesta De mayo Cottage(900 sq ft) has two bedrooms, 1 bath,an open living room and full kitchen, a front enclosed porch, a fireplace, hardwood floors, fine bedding, comfortable furnishings, ceiling fans, AC, lots of outdoor space to relax and hang out by the pool or hot tub.
Siesta Great Room,(500sq ft) is a large studio with all the amenities. A queen Tommy Bahama bedroom set and a additional living area make this studio stunning. This studio has a full (small) kitchen, a full bath, private deck and near the pool and hot tub. This unit has an outdoor sitting area that overlooks the gardens....Great spot to have your morning coffee and lsiten to the doves..
Newly opened Siesta Guest Cottage (800sq ft) free standing, one king bedroom with gorgeous bedroom set, tiled floors, a good sized bath, open living, dining area, full kitchen,private deck, AC, WIFI and TV. The unit is a few steps from the hot tub, pool, patio grill area and sunning decks...
The hot tub and above the ground 20 ft pool are in an enclosed private common area which has a grill.

My family discovered Siesta six years ago as wonderful vacation spot...After several years of looking for the right vacation property we found Siesta de Mayo Cottage and absolutely love being close to the village and the beach.
The Unique Benefits at this House
While staying at Siesta de Mayo you will enjoy the cottage and the laid back charm of Siesta Village and all it has to offer. Great restaurants, shops and night life all in two minute walk t the village. The cottage offers two bedrooms, a sun porch, an open living kitchen area, a hot tub and funky above the ground pool. We have WIFI, 2 TV's, and are fully stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. There is also the Siesta Great Room that can be rented for additional friend's or family. The property is very quiet and tranquil..lots of birds. The beach is a few minute walk.....and beach chairs and towels are provided. The secured pool and hot area is complete with lounge chairs, gas grill and gardens,

I have owned a bed and breakfast in Newport for the last ten years and decided to expand to Siesta. I have combined my love of business, gardening and people to create Siesta de Mayo Cottage.....It has been our dream to own a property in Siesta Village and we would like to share it with our guest's I am active in the community of Newport RI. Participating non profit organizations, bed and breakfast associations and a board member of our visitor's center.
