  We had 33 people in our group of friends of the Cincy Rockers. Two of the group were band members. The location of Bear Claw is great. You can walk to the main street of town if you want to. Some of our group did, but it is a steep and winding roadway to walk. Access to town is great by car. We had all ages there from 25 to 75. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

  I hosted a group of guys at Bear Claw for a weekend and everyone had a great time! Everything in the cabin was described and pictured accurately. Additionally, the location was unbeatable. Walking distance to the Gatlinburg strip. It was very easy dealing with the owners and they were great with communication from interest to follow-up. Will definitely return to Bear Claw if hosting a large group!

  Hiking Club members spent a week in Bear Claw Lodge and it worked very well for our 25 adults. We had couples in 5 bedrooms and 3 women or 3 men in the other 5 bedrooms. It was great that each bedroom had its own bathroom and TV. There was more than enough seating for meals. We enjoyed the pool and foosball tables and big screen TV in the living room. The party deck provided a colorful mountain view that was not expected. The owner was accessible and very easy to work with. We also had the excitement of a bear and cubs roaming around the mountainside. This was our club’s 10th annual hiking trip and compared to other accommodations, Bear Claw ranks near the top for comfort and value for a large group.

  This cabin is right on!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was just like home with a bathroom for each bedroom. The most perfect spot, ever. Location, location, loation can not say enough about it. Everyone was so nice. The cabin is in excellant shape and well maintained. We have a new end of the summer spot to go to now. If you're looking for a cabin, look no futher.

  It was a perfect cabin. Everyone was so helpful in making our stay remembered for years to come. We have found a new vacation spot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cabin was very clean and well maintained. Having our group all in one place made the event priceless and I do no think it would have been this good in any other cabin, anywhere.

  We had our family reunion here with 20 adults and it was absolutely perfect! The way the rooms are separated into almost wings....it did not make everyone feel they were on top of one another. Having a private bathroom in each bedroom was exceptionally nice. The common space was large enough that we could all have our meals together, but could also scatter around to escape one another! The decks off of some of the bedrooms allowed for our smokers in our family to be able to smoke without the rest of us having to suffer-- we put all smokers in those rooms. The location was perfect to downtown---and we always knew how to get back home because of where it was located. We would recommend this lodge for anyone looking for a value that exceeds the price! thank you bear claw lodge!
