This was by far the best experience I have had renting a house on Nantucket. The house was absolutely wonderful and everyone enjoyed their stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the right appliances and cookware you need to make a big dinner:) The house was very spacious and the outdoor patio was great to relax on. Landlord was very helpful throughout the stay. 5 minute walk into town was also a major plus! Can't wait to spend another weekend in this house!

A nice 8-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride into town, Gull Cottage was perfectly situated. We road our bikes 6 minutes to the beach (but could walk there in 15). Just far enough out of town center not to hear the hustle and bustle/vehicles of town, but close enough to be there in minutes. The rooms were sized right for 6 - 8 people - we all fit comfortably in the family room for "movie night." I loved having the spacious master suite downstairs and the kids upstairs! The outside patio was ideal for breakfast in the morning - nice and private. Beds comfy, gourmet kitchen had everything we needed & more, and many touches of home throughout. The house was fresh and clean and decorated so nicely. We really felt at home and never felt we were on top of each other, even on a rainy day.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Just a note to say our stay at Gull Cottage was wonderful. You have a beautiful home on Nantucket – thank you for sharing it with us. We took full advantage of beach, windsurfing, fishing, biking, picnicking and of course…shopping! Restaurants were fantastic! The proximity of your home to town was ideal. The family room was our cozy central location at the end of the evening for everyone to curl up and watch a movie together – and we spent every morning on the patio…so picturesque. In a word, perfect!

We stayed here for a long weekend at the end of April and would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Nantucket. The house is conveniently located just a short walk from town and shops. The house itself is updated with a great kitchen and patio for outside dining. Thanks for a great stay!

We just got home from an incredible long weekend at Gull Cottage and would highly recommned this place to anyone. The house has been entirely remodeled - beautiful new kitchen/appliances and great bedrooms (awesome beds!). Still, the house maintains that traditional Nantucket charm throughout. Thank you for hosting us, we definitely plan on returning next summer!

We had an especially lovely time at your cottage - very comfortable and wionderfully furnished. Loved the proximity to everything and your patio was great for outdoor cookouts. This part of nantucket is charming! ...The kids loved it too!

We had a wonderful time here on the Island of Nantucket. The house was perfect. The beds were amazing. We loved being able to walk to town and a couple of the beaches. Also, we enjoyed riding bikes everywhere. We hope to be back again. Thank you very much!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Gull Cottage in Nantucket town. The house was spotless and well appointed. The location was so convienent to the beaches and town that we really didn't need our car. Coffin and Lilly Pond Parks were a stones throw away and a great play area for our children. We look forward to returning this summer.

Gull Cottage was more than we expected. It is on a beautiful street, surrounded by parks, it's a very short walk to Main St. and the beaches. The furnishings and linens were top notch. The owners were very accomodating and helped us with all of our needs. They returned our security deposit immediately. Restaurants and shopping were nearby but the house was out of the hustle and bustle of the core. We recommend this home to anyone that appreciates a clean, well appointed and outfitted property. My wife has pet allergies and this home was completely allergy free for her as the owners don't allow pets in the house.

We had the most wonderful time here on Nantucket. and we've especially enjoyed your lovely home. Everything about it has been perfect for our family...perfect location (just a 5 min walk to Childrens Beach and town), perfect amenities,(beach chairs and towels used everyday,!), perfect balance of updated baths & kitchen, yet still charming"antique feel", just prefectly comfortable in every way! We hope to return for many years to come. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

This is our 3rd year at Gull Cottage. It was a treat to see all the great amenities you've added, A/C, beautiful linens, new furnishings etc. We hope to return next year.
