Year Purchased: 2008
I am the owner of The Greenwich Repertory Theatre and The Children's Theatre Workshop. I co-own Parties By Jayne and Elaine. I have written a party book series, a children's bilingual book, a coming of age novel, and a children's musical. I donate a portion of all profits to children who are abused, and kids with AIDS. I recently moved to Stowe, Vermont from Greenwich, CT. I have two daughters and four grandchildren. I ski, swim, and skate when I am not sitting at my computer. I first came to Stowe in the mid 1980's and knew immediately that some day I would live here. It only took me 25 years. After my first visit, I went to Motor Vehicles and changed my license plate to read '2 STOWE'. When I became a Vermont resident last year, I was lucky to trade in the CT plate for a VT plate that also said '2 STOWE'. Whether it is summer, fall, winter, or spring, it is always breathtaking, waking up to the magnificent mountains, always dressed for the season.
Why the Owner Chose Stowe
I have been coming to Stowe, Vermont for vacation since the mid 1980's. I owned another home here for ten years but when Spruce Peak began development with a hotel, live theatre, ice skating rink, ski in/ski out, championship golf course, excellent restaurants and shops, and a private club for members, it was impossible to ignore.
