Hello, and welcome to Sherry's Cove. Jim and I want to welcome you to a most unique and affordable vacation get-away. We have worked for the past six years preparing our home for our guests. Doing most of the remodeling ourselves has been a lot of fun. With two master bedrooms, it's perfect for two families to share. The dining area seats 8 people inside and we also have a dining area on our large, comfortable screened porch; this is where we spend a lot of our time. Our newly remodeled kitchen is equipped with a flat-top cooking range and oven, microwave, dishwasher, two refrigerators, icemaker, filtered water, and gourmet cookware. There are both gas and charcoal BBQ grills.
For your comfort, we have a new A/C with air filtration system, new windows and doors. For your convenience, there are a new clothes washer and dryer, an auto air pump for bikes and beach toys, a big box full of beach toys, and an outdoor shower to clean up from the beach. We provide unlimited telephone long-distance calling in the US and Canada, plus hi-speed wireless internet, HD cable TV, 5 TV's - 2 Flat screens, 3 DVD's, 3 CD's 1 VCR players. We have a sizable library of books of all types for your reading pleasure.
We know that some like pools and hot tubs so, for our guests, we have heated pool/spa privileges at the up-scale Beachview Club Hotel just a few blocks away (see photo). The residents on Tyler Lane have developed and maintained a private access point to the beach. There is also a public access point just through the back yard. No need to cross any major streets to get to the beach or the pool/spa.
Jekyll Island, GA is truly a special family place. As a state park, it must stay 65% undeveloped, assuring Jekyll will be frozen in time for all to enjoy. Biking through, or taking a guided tour, in the century old restored Millionaire's Village, with the large oaks and Spanish Moss, will take you back in time to the days of the Old South. Enjoying the eight miles of beach, the twenty miles of bike paths, golf, tennis, horseback riding, fishing and the water park, will give you and your family a vacation that will bring you back time and time again.
Our new Georgia Sea Turtle Center is fascinating and a "must see" for kids of all ages. In the summer you can even see the turtles lay their eggs on the beach dunes. And, there is much, much more to discover on Jekyll Island.

- Full Kitchen: All stainless appl. We live here for 6 mo. of the year and so we have it stocked as you would have your own kitchen. If you find something that is missing let us know and if it's within our power we will make it happen.

- Lanai: This is a large (24X12) screen porch. It is great for all times of the day, with two ceiling fans. We have our morning coffee,lunch, cocktails, dinner there. This is a great gathering place. It has a large tabel for dining and a number of comfortable chairs. We spend a lot of time here and with the privacy screen you have your own hide-a-way.

- Privately maintained beach access - less than 1 minute walk to the beach, Free access to oceanside heated pool/spa. If you are a reader we have an aray of books to read while your on the beach or enjoying the porch. Jekyll has a well stocked grocery store and just off the island and over the highest point in south Georgia(the Sidney Lanear Bridge) is a Winn Dixie. Jekyll also has a full staffed EMS, Fire dept. and Georgia State Patrol dept.
