As you know, we arrived late last Friday and were weary from our travels. Generally it is a hassle checking into hotels, keeping the children waiting as you fill out the numerous forms, get the keys, unload the car, etc. However, being able to actually pull up to our private villa and enter right in to get immediately settled was certainly a first in all of our travels. That truly is a rarity, and a gem to be treasured. It was such a relief to handle ‘the check in’ prior to our arrival. That, in and of itself, sets your private resort far apart AND above all the places we’ve stayed. The villa was plush, comfortable, and the décor was absolutely five star! We felt immediately at home, and as tired as we were from our travels my wife and I couldn’t wait to tour the entire villa, view the paintings and gorgeous furnishings. Typically we save that venture for the next day when we arrive so late. But alas, we put the kids to bed, briefly unpacked and sipped some wine as we explored the villa. It was beyond relaxing to end our ‘personal tour’ on the lovely back deck, and finish our wine glasses sitting in the whirlpool while gazing up at the stars hanging over the lush Smoky Mountains. I must also add that your villa’s layout is impeccable! Though our guests were merely upstairs, it felt worlds apart from the master suite where we stayed. We didn’t feel as if we were tripping over our guests, but yet if we wanted to all be together we could do so with ease. The flow from the kitchen to living area and even the dining area and game room was masterfully done. The entire weekend felt both cozy and private. You have somehow managed to pull off what other villas are sadly lacking – grand flow and spaciousness as well as privacy. We have officially replaced our ‘all time favorite’ small villa retreat in St. Lucia to our new spacious one in The Sanctuary. Please know that we will be returning soon, and often, as well as telling others! You have a most luxurious setting, and the ease of it all (from check in, to furnishings) and the overall mood you’ve so artistically created…….allows the guest to slip into comfort mode instantly!! Well done. We will certainly being seeing you in the very near future!”

“We have traveled to many places but this Villa is among the top 5. We got married in Pigeon Forge 10 years ago and wanted to come back to see how the area had changed. Ironically, we spent most of our time here, just enjoying the place. Thanks for making this Villa more like a home, instead of yet another hotel. We will definitely come back.”

“Thank you, thank you, thank you! We had the amazing stay in your fabulous townhouse!! I can honestly say I have never seen anything so beautiful or put together so well! You did not miss a trick! We lounged in the hot tub, grilled outside, sat on your fabulous patio and counted the stars. We played numerous games of pool and watched movies on your huge flat screen while munching on popcorn. We woke up this morning and had a hard time leaving this beautiful home! We all look forward to coming back in September and staying right here!! On behalf of the Norton's and ourselves, we thank you for this beautiful experience.”

“Absolutely beautiful! We loved every bit of it. It was hard to leave the Villa. My girls enjoyed the kids club and hot tub. My husband liked it so much, he was inspired to cook us a wonderful dinner…yeah! I wish everyone who is fortunate enough to stay here many wonderful memories.”

I spent the weekend of July 4th 2009 at the Sanctuary Villas. It was a first trip for me to the area & it was very easy to travel to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg from the property. The Villas were beautiful! The beds were very comfortable & the view of the golf course was superb. The Sanctuary has all of the comforts of home along with extras like the pool table in the game room! I would recommend this property to anyone who is traveling to Sevierville and the surrounding areas.
