"Belle Tahoe" is a beautiful new 2600+ square foot home that combines all the comforts of home with the luxury of a fine hotel. With a spacious floor plan, four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two common areas, there is plenty of room for you to spread out and enjoy yourselves. Relax on one of the two balconies, or just enjoy the forest views from every room. With no neighbors on two sides, Belle Tahoe really lets you get away from it all.
THE GREAT ROOM: The gourmet kitchen is every cook's dream: granite slab countertops, maple cabinets, 5-burner gas stove, double convection ovens, large refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, espresso machine, blender, mixer, food processor, spices, oils, cutlery, pots & pans, and more! The adjoining dining nook seats 8-10 people at the table, with four additional stools at the kitchen island. There's a magnificent floor to ceiling stone fireplace with large leather couches, 50" HDTV and home theater system. Take your meals, coffee or party outside to the deck with views of the woods, mountains and meadows. BBQ all summer long on the gas grill.
THE BEDROOMS: Rest easy...each of our beds has a high-quality pillow top mattress, luxury linens and fluffy pillows. There are two bedrooms upstairs (the master and a second), each with a King bed, cathedral ceiling, nightstands, dresser and walk-in closet. The two downstairs bedrooms have Queen beds (total of three), nightstands, dressers and walk-in closets.
THE BATHROOMS: Go ahead - take a nice long bubble bath. With maple cabinetry, rainfall showerheads and granite throughout, you will be relaxing in luxury. The master bathroom features two sinks, a jetted tub and a walk-in double shower. The upstairs bathroom features two sinks, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. The downstairs bathroom features one sink, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. And, best of all, there are two hot water heaters, so it's more comfortable for larger groups.
DEN/FAMILY ROOM: Downstairs, there is a second common room with a 36" TV & DVD player in an armoire, a Queen futon, games and toys. The sliding glass door opens to a second balcony.
PARKING, LAUNDRY, ETC: Our huge garage can easily accomodate two cars full-size SUV's, and two more cars may park on the driveway. The indoor laundry (downstairs) has a washer, dryer, and utility sink. For your convenience, we also provide two Queen-sized aero beds, portacrib and high chair.
We bought and started renting our house in 2009 and continue to have a great experience using it ourselves and renting it to visitors. We use the house ourselves about once per month, which allows us to stay on top of routine maintenance and keep everything in top condition for your stay.
Update for 2011: We've put a large hammock in the backyard, brought in a lot more pictures, and added an extra long coat and purse rack downstairs. We continue to refresh the bedding and kitchen supplies.
UPDATE FOR 2010: New landscaping includes 20 quaking aspen and chokecherry trees, flowers and shrubs. New extra large capacity dishwasher. New artwork with photos of some of our favorite locations around Lake Tahoe. Refinished the floors in the great room and stairway. Added mirrors in downstairs bedrooms.
UPDATE FOR JULY 2009: Other additions include new cabinet hardware and artwork throughout the home. We now have a collection of novels and children's books to enjoy during your stay.

Spacious New Luxury Home, 2 Mi to Heavenly, Incredible Value
Year Purchased: 2009
Why the Owner Chose Black Bart
We wanted a house close enough to skiing, beaches, shopping, grocery stores and restaurants so that nothing was more than a quick drive away. We also wanted to have the seclusion to feel like we were getting away and not back in the suburbs. We found our dream house at the end of the street in a quiet, wooded neighborhood with mountain views. We love being able to walk out our front door and go hiking through the woods or exploring the meadow and Cold Creek.
The Unique Benefits at this House
After numerous vacations renting from other people, we were finally able to set up our own house with everything we wanted to have to be able to go ourselves, or with a large group of our family and friends and all stay together. First and foremost, this is a big house with spacious bedrooms so that we can spread out, with both a great room upstairs and family room for the kids downstairs. All of the beds are BIG (queens and kings) with pillowtops and high-end linens. We love that there are three full bathrooms and double water heaters. The granite bathrooms with rainfall showerheads and separate tubs are so relaxing. We've tried to combine the comforts of home with the luxury of a fine hotel.

Our names are Jeff and Jessica, and we've been coming to Lake Tahoe for several years with our three young children - twin boys and a little girl. We've visited at all times of the year, and we love going sledding and skiing, playing at the beach, hiking out our front door and trying the local restaurants.

We had such a great time with our family during our stay at your beautiful house. It has been about a month since our stay and our feet hit the ground when we returned home. It has been non-stop since, so our relaxing few days there was very appreciated. We would love to return again in the near future. You have made this home so welcoming, it has a relaxed elegance about it that I and my family really enjoyed. Thank you once again for letting us enter earlier on the day of our arrival and giving our family such a rewarding experience.

This home was everything it was described as and more! We were a group of twelve spending the weekend in South Lake Tahoe to snowboard, ski and just enjoy good times together. The home was impressive from the start just driving in to the driveway. It has a very spacious kitchen/dining area great for a large group like ours to cook and eat comfortably. The three bathrooms were perfect for the number of people in our group. A few of us were able to enjoy the luxury of a jacuzzi in the master bedroom! Overall a very clean, well kept home that we were fortunate to find! The owners of this property were exceptionally nice. They were easy to contact via email, and responded promptly. They kindly offered to help with any other questions we may have had about our trip to Lake Tahoe, suggested local eateries and activities to consider around the town. We were basically there to ski/snowboard at Heavenly and so they gave us a heads up about shuttles to and fro, and weather conditions when the time came near. We also used their recommended ski rental shop Rip'n Willies. Rip'n Willies were just as nice and helpful. We are definitely looking forward to another trip to Lake Tahoe and will definitely want to stay at their beautiful home again!
Owner response:Thanks, I'm glad you and your friends had a great vacation and that the ski shop worked out too.

On behalf of my extended family, we all really enjoyed this beautiful, clean, comfy home. The open and bright living and kitchen area make for family "all" together time but there's also a comfy, cosy living area downstairs. Kitchen and living rooms have it all. Bedrooms have very comfortable beds. Bathrooms are large and top of the line finishes. Jeff and Jessica went above and beyond with communication and information regarding the property, our stay and also providing us with recommendations on restaurants and activities.

Belle Tahoe was a perfect place for the family to gather for our daughter's wedding. The room was sufficient for all of us to be together, and for the little ones to have room to roam. The bathrooms were great for getting ready, and the beds were comfy. The kitchen and great room accomodated a lot of folks comfortably. The downstairs family room made a great escape as well. The area is very quiet, and it's centrally located for any activity...close enough to everything, but not in the midst of everything. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

I've stayed at this cabin the last two times I've gone to South Lake and it's by far the best! Great location, very quiet amd just 10 minutes from the main strip. Very roomy, clean, and a great kitchen with all the amenities. The long kitchen table was great for dinners and family board games. The beds are comfortable and the walk-in showers and jetted tubs are AMAZING! The owners provide all the information and resources needed for a great stay in South Lake. We will definitely stay in this cabin every time we come to South Lake.

Belle Tahoe was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th. A dozen friends joined me at this beautiful house for a long weekend of skiing, relaxing, cooking and eating. The layout is perfect for a group gathering - very spacious and well decorated. We made some amazing meals in the fully equipped kitchen - it has everything you need and more. I assumed that the house wouldn't have decent wine glasses (or enough) so I brought my own but I was wrong - there were plenty. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable - the beds are awesome too. The bathrooms are absolutely beautiful and luxurious. I can't say enough about this wonderful home and my perfect birthday weekend! I'll be back!
