It offers tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Prague. Yet, it is only a 10 minute walk to the metro stop and a short 7 minute ride to the "Museum" stop on Metro line 'C', thus offering the best of both worlds.
A ten minute walk will bring you to a great municipal park with a walking, running, and biking path. The biking path hooks up to a main bike path which follows along the Moldau river. A wonderful place to enjoy when you tire of sightseeing.
Also, ten minutes away, is a grocery store which has all you need to fix your own meals and a deli, newspaper stand, cinema, pharmacy, Raiffeisen Bank, and bakery are all located in this convenient location.
Taking the metro to the 'Museum' stop will bring you to Prague's Wenceslaus Square. From here you can go to any of Prague's desired historical locations; New Town Square, Old Town Square, Prague Castle, or Charles Bridge to watch the beautiful Moldau river meander by.
At the end of the day, come back to the serenity of the apartment and relax, enjoying a glass of wine or beer.
