This condo has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture - the counter in the kitchen worked great for meals. Master bedroom is large with a great bath, wonderful views, and comfortable King size bed. It is on the upper level. The second bedroom is on the main level and the two extra long twin beds were very comfortabe. This bedroom also has a small deck that is in the shade in the afternoon. The deck off of the living room has a wonderful view of the valley and mountains and is in full sun in the afternoon. This condo is great for a family or for two couples. Powder Mountain is only 10 minutes away. Also, there are a couple good restaurants nearby. A smaller but well stocked grocery store is only a mile away and has pretty much everything you need. If you want liquor you'll need to get it on your way from the airport as there is not a liquor store nearby.

This condo was as beautiful and well kept, if not more, than as pictured. John was good with communication and renting the unit was an easy transaction. We couldn't be happier with the location and the condo. It felt like home. The king size bed was beyond comfortable. We will be back! Thank you, John.

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo and would highly recommend it in any season. It is in a great location with a spectacular view close to golf, 3 ski areas, mountain biking trails, and a beautiful reservoir with boating, swimming, and fishing. Condo is very well decorated and maintained with tasteful, good quality furniture and bedding. It had everything we needed as far as kitchen appliances, dishes, gadgets, etc., and the owner had thoughtfully prepared a binder full of great information about the area. We felt instantly at home!

Excellent property, beautiful views, located close to mountain biking trails, grocery, bike shops, everything we needed. The kitchen was especially well equipped, everything that you needed. We never had one dinner out while there for 5 days. The log cabin grocery store 1 mile away has everything you need. We will be back.

Peace & Quiet

I live in downtown Atlanta and wanted a quiet getaway near Ogden. My son & his wife had my first grandchild in Ogden and I wanted to be nearby but still have my own place to allow them time alone to enjoy their first child. I am happy to say that Jackson arrived and is healthy and happy. I have been at Moosehollow for 3 weeks and am very pleased. It gave me a drastic change of environment from the hot, busy lifestyle of Atlanta and offered all of the conveniences of home to allow me to have my son and his family over for visits. The condo is furnished beautifully and the view is picture perfect.

This was the easiest transaction ever, and the condo was perfect. Great location for powder mountain.The condo was very nice, clean, and not decorated like a rental, but like someone's vacation home. Nice flat screen tvs and nice furniture. The owner was very accommodating, as we booked a day before we arrived. It was our first visit to powder mountain, and it was awesome! So much powder and no people. It was like 7000 acres of backcountry skiing, but with lifts. This place is not deer valley, it's as old school as it gets. We hired a guide for the day, it was the best money I ever spent.

A Super Week of Skiing

Everything was as advertised. Well furnished and comfortable unit, with all the amenities of home. 3 LCD televisions, fast wi-fi, and comfy beds. Condo was clean and ready for our arrival. An ideal choice for a week of skiing at Snowbasin and Powder Mountain, Note that the Ogden Valley has very little in the way of night life, but is a great place to get away from it all. And Ogden is only a 20 minute drive away. Check out Harley and Bucks for a good meal. You can get discount coupons at restaurant.com. The Huntsville Barbeque company is also very good, and that's coming from a Texan.

My honey and I spent two weeks here while he was on his mid-tour leave from Afghanistan at the end of January. I had high expectations and was not disappointed. The pictures do not lie...the condo is well-maintained, very clean, upgraded and professionally decorated yet felt like home immediately! It was the perfect size for the two of us but with the second bedroom, two full bathrooms and a pull-out sofa-bed it also accommodated occasional overnight visitors (as he has family that lives in Utah). We were delighted to find extra pillows, blankets and towels for our guests to use and the in-unit washer and dryer provided even more convenience. There is an extra storage closet in the hallway for your outdoor gear/ski equipment and plenty of dresser/storage place inside the condo if you are like me and really want to settle in and feel at home! The kitchen had all your basic needs covered and even surprised me with a crockpot which I used several times...perfect for those days when you come back from skiing and want a hot meal right away! There were even a few cooking staples in the pantry: sugar, flour, salt and pepper, coffee filters, even hot chocolate! I loved feeling like I was in the middle of nowhere but knowing the small town of Eden, and it's grocery store were just 5 minutes away. If you like the hustle and bustle of a bigger city, maybe want to do a little shopping, take the kids bowling or even indoor rock climbing or enjoy dinner and a movie, Ogden is just a quick and beautiful 25 minute drive down the canyon. This condo was more than either of us could have asked for...I might go so far as to say it was too nice...as neither one of us wanted to leave! John, the owner, was wonderful to work with, responded to my emails quickly and checked that things were going well upon checking in and after our stay. I would highly recommend staying here...and hope to return again!

Terrific accomodations the condo exceeded our expectations, it was fabuluous! Well appointed, spacious master bedroom, amazing views! Immaculate, perfect for our ski weekend, first floor ski closet was perfect for all our gear! We had the best family weekend! Even the teenage boys didn't argue! Thanks!! What a terrific part of Utah, we skied Powder Mtn, Snowbasin and even Wolf Creek yesterday for a half day and were surprised at the 3" of new snow and the buy one get one for $10 lift tickets on Tuesdays! Loved the C&H restaurant 2 miles away and the Market so convienent! Thanks again for hosting us!

I staid at John Carvers Condo and it was a pleasure to deal with him, the condo was as described, super maintained, kitchen fully equipped and a little welcome present was there as well. Loved our stay at this condo. Great access to Powder Mountain and Snowbasin. Must be professionally decorated as it is beautiful in all details. The pictures do not do it justice. Really comfortable beds after a day of skiing lots of powder! The owner has lots of info to help you find your way around the local area and ski resorts. Very helpful. And he has been great in all other respects as well. Would not hesitate to stay here again next time. We haved skied all over Utah and Colorado and have found Powder Mountain to be one of our favorites. Real old school which is a nice break from the Park City/Vail scene. Nicest people you can meet. Highly recommended. Condo is only a few miles away. Don't miss the guided day long tour available for under 200 bucks. Best mountain value I have ever come across. Ask for Amanda. She knows all the mountain details and will bring you to all the untracked powder stashes!

We loved the condo. My 13 year old commented that it felt like home after a couple of days. The view is spectacular. We have a boat in a wet slip at PineView Lake and it was so nice to head down there everyday to play. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Thanks for the wonderful memories!
