Pacific Escape is an ideal family rental. It is just steps to the beach and 1 block to town - an easy trip with toddlers. Two bedrooms and a sleep loft ensure comfortable beds for six guests. Main floor bedroom has a queen bed, upstairs bedroom features a king and the loft houses a full.

“It’s so cute!” is the initial response most first time visitors have to this beach house. Pacific Escape is just ¼ block from easy beach access, and two blocks from the center of Rockaway Beach.
House has family friendly features including crib, high chair, Kelty brand baby carrier, jogging stroller (3 wheel), beach toys, bikes (youth and adult), boogie boards, skim board, games, books & movies. Park in the dry, secure garage or use the extra space for gear. Full size washer / dryer are on site for families who just can’t stay out of the sand and surf.
We rented coast properties for years before buying. It stinks to arrive and find worn bedding, rough towels, and insufficient cookware. This place is stocked! Plenty of linens, ample cookware, lots of dishes (even champagne flutes) and enough silverware for a dinner party.
Good weather at the Oregon Coast can’t be beat, but even in sketchy conditions you are close enough to catch sun breaks on the beach. If it’s best to stay in, snuggle up by the fire, tackle a puzzle, or enjoy movies and a round of “Scene It” movie game on the LCD TV.
If you need to get some work done (but not too much, please!), wifi is provided.
Rockaway Beach is a great little town. Explore on foot; hop on the train to Garibaldi or venture north to watch the surfers at Short Sands (Oswald State Park). The Tillamook Ice Cream Factory is a short drive south as is the Tillamook Air Museum.

What a beautiful cabin to stay in. My family and I were very impressed with how clean and so well kept the house was. The amenities were wonderful especially for people with little children like us. (games, highchair, pack n play, toys, etc...) Just being steps from the beach it was so easy to go down to the beach and if we forgot something we were able to get back to the house quickly. The owner was so nice and easy to get a hold of. I for sure would recommend this property and already have! We for sure will be coming back. Thanks again for helping make our vacation even better!

I stayed this past weekend at the Pacific Escape cottage. It was such a cute place. It was very homey, and cozy. There were so many amenities in the house. It was in walking distance to the beach. It felt like home away from home. I will stay there again for sure!

This is a great little house that is very well located both in Rockaway as well as the Oregon coast in general. We stayed here with 2 other adult couples, which was a bit crowded but still very nice. The main areas of the house are roomy and comfortable. The bedrooms are cozy and the loft area is cute but would suit children much better then adults. The kitchen is well stocked and the house was spotless. The best part was the amazing location in respect to the beach. It was less then a two minute walk to the very lovely beach. We hope to return here someday and would recommend this house to all of our friends.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

This beach cottage was perfect for our family. It was cozy, but nicely designed with several private sleeping spaces away from the main living area. Our kids LOVED sleeping and playing in the little loft nook - it was their own private castle! We enjoyed being so close to the beach - just a couple of houses away - and the house provided everything we wanted for our stay. We would definitely rent this house again.

This house is perfect! Our first visit was with our 4yr old daughter and Grandma. Everyone had their own space but plenty of room to gather. We felt right at home. Starting with a great kitchen with everything you need down to the toys that a kid of any age needs to have fun on the beach. My daughter especially loved the 'princess' loft. We are looking forward to our next visit over Spring Break.

AWESOME!! Pacific Escape was our first experience renting a home for a vacation. We were so pleased to arrive to find a spotless home with every amenity provided. Our kids loved the loft bedroom and the games that are (thoughtfully) in the home. The location was great, steps to the beautiful beach and convenient for day trips up or down the coast. The owners were easy to reach to make the arrangements and very accommodating for all our questions. We will be back!!

Thank you again for offering your delightful home. We are a family of six with two teenagers and younger siblings. I never hear I'm bored. I feel safe to let the older ones explore on their own while we entertain the younger ones. My husband likes that I don't have to pack the whole house up because everything we could need is right there. We will be back in August for our third time. As long as you offer your home it will be our special place to build memories.

We have stayed here twice now because it is so cute and so close to both the ocean and town. It does not have the worn look and moldy smells that some beach rentals have: everything is clean and sparkly. It really feels like you're staying as a guest in someone's home. Rockaway Beach as a town has really blossomed in the last couple of years. It has lots of little shops and restaurants - kind of the like the up-and-coming town on the Coast, still somewhat undiscovered. The house is not right ON the beach (which I actually prefer b/c then it's not so windy) but a walk of about 30 seconds gets you to the beach access. Overall, very nice!
