I thought the place was nice, had a great view, and was in a great location in downtown Punta del Este. everything we needed was in walking distance and the beach was right there. price was great, and the service was good too.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Great Location, right in the heart of eveything going on, on the Peninsula. Five minutes walk from the main bus station, car and bike hire shops within 1 mins walk, plus supermarkets and lots of resturants. The apartment is slightly old fashioned, but perfectly clean and functionable, the view has to be one of the best in Punta. Three big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchen with everything you will need. Also very handing having an internet connection. Would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit Punta del Este.

Bargain for Short New Year Stay

This modest 1960s apt, with a four night minimum fit the bill for Punta's ultra high season! All others were outrageous and required one week minimum stay which did not fit our schedule. The apt looks exactly like the photos and is on a high floor with dramatic views of both the ocean and bay. Its located in the center of downtown Punta Del Este. Could use new furnishings, new baths/kitchen with better water pressure and improved lighting. My only complaint were the thread bare towels, which should be replaced. We ended up purchasing our own. Beach towels for guests would also be a nice addition. The apt was very clean with daily maid service, doorman and garage. The garage was key since parking is difficult. Ended up meeting the owner who was very nice and helpful.

Great apartment with nicest staff building and landlord

This apartment was literally a haven for me. I was at a very stressful conference and wanted an apartment and not a hotel to feel more at home and at home, was how I felt. In truth my own home, is never as clean as this apartment is kept, it was spotless AND maid service came everyday two or every other day,but cleanliness- TOP marks here. The building is one of those classy buildings you see in the Southern Cone of South America, same style as Europe in many ways. It was originally very well designed and well made with stone floors throughout and wood panels in the halls and lobby. Well worth it, as it had good sound proofiing and feels very solid. The elevators work efficiently and there are stairs also. There is a 24 hour conceirge at the front desk which is really good for travellers. There is a telephone in the apt. for local or oversees calls and you leave a very small deposit and then the concierge will tell you at the end of your stay how much your telephone bill was, service like a 5 star concierge but LOW telephone prices eg 20 minute call to Mexico / 10 minute call to Panama and total was about 15 $US. Dont get me started on the view now...The front room of the apartment has two full pane glass windows so you a geat view, you can see the waves easily as you are only a block and a half from either coasts. View is NOT the problem. The furniture is more than ample and the landlord had placed lovely cotton throws over the sofas so they were freshly draped in a cream colour. Elegant. You could sleep 6 people comfortably as the salon turns into two rooms, with an acordian pull blind so you can turn the big salon into two room, easily pulling the blind and pulling out the sofabed. I slept there because you can see the view all night, if you cant sleep and it is really pretty at night too with all the lights. The kitchen UNLIKE 99% of other rentals has everything a cook needs, and more, details like tupperwear for storing leftovers. The little stove oven is new and easily operated, but takes a little more time than a full range for baked or oven goods, so just put it a little hotter or leave it a little longer than necessary. The internet will be hooked up for you, just ask the landlord in advance to make sure that is all ready as it was for me and the landlord helped me to check that it was working on my computer. My happiest landlord and rental experience to date. If I come back to Punte, Ill surely stay here again. GOOD VIBES!!!!!

Excellent Apartment in downtown Punta del Este

A very nice apartment middle in the centre of Punta del Este overlooking the Atlantic Ocean as well as the Bay. Beaches, shops, and restaurants are in walking distance only 1 minute to the shopping street. The apartment was clean and spacious. The building is provided with a swimming pool, 24h security and a cleaningservice. The apartment has a nice livingroom, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and a pantry. The price quality is therefore excellent. We have enjoined our stay here in this apartment during our vacation in Punta del Este and would choose it the next time again without a doubt. The owners were friendly and helpfull. I would recommend this property to a relative. My overall opion is good to excellent for this property depending on what your demands are. For me it was close to beaches, shops and restaurants.

The apartment looks exactly like the pictures. It was clean, comfortable and had tremendous views. The location is one block from the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend this property!
