A Classic Gem in Portland visitor's favorite neighborhood. NW Portland is one of Portland's oldest and interesting neighborhoods. It is a showcase of the best of Portland's residential architecture and borders the downtown core to the south and the Pearl district to the east. The property is a wonderful 1930s stucco, Mediterranean style 4 plex.

It has hardwood floors, the original wood burning fireplace, period woodwork, outdoor deck/veranda; all its original charm with updated conveniences. The location is just perfect. You are walking distance to NW 23rd which is the center of the neighborhood's retail core which boasts many of the best restaurants and boutique shops in all of Portland.

We have had such success with our VRBO rentals at the coast (#219042) and Hood River (#182757) that we have decided to convert this property to a vacation rental. It will be available for the first time in June 2009. Everything is in pristine condition with new furniture, imported linens, cooking utensils, plates....

    • Having the perverbial "home away from home" is something that all travelers hope for when they are away. Having stayed at Dan's 2BR apt in a prime location in the NW district gave us that sense upon entering...The lovely flat is well appointed, and everything is new....Attention to detail was not overlooked, and there wasn't anything we needed or desired that wasn't already in place...I would highly reccommend this lovely apt. to anyone seeking a comfortable and clean place to stay, with all the amenties that matter ....short, or long term....I would not hesitate to return.
