This island beach home offers all the luxury, warmth and charm needed to enjoy our wonderful island. Located in the desirable village area, it is less than three blocks from the ocean, lighthouse, pier, Neptune Park Pool, St. Simons Park, and village shops, playgrounds and restaurants. All of your vacation activities are just a short stroll away.
Tastefully decorated to accentuate all of the builders upgrades, this is our home away from home. There is a plush king, plush queen, two singles, and a fold-out couch to accommodate up to seven sleeping guests. Each bedroom has cable television, its own private bathroom with shower, and the downstairs master also has an oversized tub. We even have Wi-Fi access so you can stay connected to the real world if you have to. We hope you enjoy all of the little things we have provided so that adults and families can enjoy it as much as we do.
For those who have never been to St. Simons, it is the most peaceful beach destination there is. It is not commercialized, and very relaxing. Historic sites, village shopping, a lighthouse, fishing from the pier for fishermen and site seers alike, and many restaurants all within walking distance of our home. There are several beautiful public and private golf courses on the island. For those who want to enjoy the ocean acitivities or intercoastal waterway; swimming, boating, charter fishing and kayaking are all near by.
Complete with everything needed to enjoy a few weeks on the island, or just an extended weekend getaway, our place is perfect for family or couples. We're sure you will love it!

This was a beautiful cottage that was the perfect answer to a weekend get away for my family. The cottage was very spacious and clean. Huge master on the main and two bedrooms with full baths upstairs. It was close to the restaurants and pier, but its location made you feel you were off the beaten path. We decided on trip to SSI last minute and came across this property. Debbie responded quickly to inquiry and made process of securing it painless.

We just returned home from this wonderful cottage. We had a fabulous time on St. Simon's Island and can't wait to return. The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. I think I slept better than I had in a long time! We especially loved that we could walk to the village area and close by restaurants. On the island, we recommend Sal's Pizza, Palm Coast Cafe, Southern Soul BBQ, Bubba Garcia's, and Moo Cow Ice cream. We had a lot of fun visiting Ft. Frederica, the Lighthouse Museum and the Maritime Museum. We rented a surrey from Wheel Fun bikes and really enjoyed that. We also loved visiting Jekyll Island and the museum and historic sites there. Try the dining room at the Jekyll Island Club for lunch -- delicious chef's menu and it was only $11.95! Even though we drove a long way to get to the Georgia coast, we can not wait to go back! Thanks again Debbie and Greg!

Some of you may find my comment regarding slippers odd, however I do not leave home without them as you never know what you may walk (literally and figuratively) into. The home and floors were so clean that I felt so very comfortable barefoot! Cottage is surprisingly spacious with ample kitchen and eating area for socializing, yet privacy is afforded in the bedrooms. Take short cut through bushes to get to village which is very close. Just a marvelous place to "go home to" while on vacation. Many excellent places to eat...Mullet Bay very good.

We enjoyed our time on Fish Fever Lane tremendously. The house is very spacious and clean. I was so happy that the beds were as comfortable as they were. The master bath has lots of room and a big tub plus shower. The upstairs has two more large bedrooms and two more bathrooms. Everything has been very well maintained in this home. This cottage is so conveniently located to the village/pier area, you won't have to drive to dinner. Lots of wonderful places to dine (our fav for fried shrimp is Iguana's). We cooked several meals and found the kitchen to have everything we needed. Loved it that the street is off the beaten path and there is no traffic. Very secure feeling on Fish Fever Lane! Aah, now I want to go back~ Thanks again Debbie. We really enjoyed your beach cottage and hope to book again soon.

We had an amazing experience from beginning to end. Debbie was an absolute pleasure to work with even when we had to bother her at Christmas for lost keys! The house is a doll house and has everything you could possibly need. One thing I enjoyed very much that was not in the pictures is a big soaking tub in the master suite. Perfect way to end a day at the beach. Even the neighbors are delightful; in fact once you come beware because you may want to stay for good. When coming to SSI you must try Barbara Jeans in the village. (The cottage is only block away) Also Southern Soul BBQ is excellent! We will be back!

This wonderful cottage is in a secluded, quiet area just a short walk from the village area. It is very comfortable and extremely clean. The front porch was a favorite place to sit and relax. Debbie is very nice and easy to work with. If you are looking for the perfect house on St. Simons Island, this is the one!

This was our second trip to St. Simons Island, and the first time for the couple that traveled with us. Your home was clean, spacious, and VERYcomfortable. We enjoyed having a place that was quiet and private, yet had so many fantastic things in walking distance. Dresner's for breakfast, Brogen's for an afternoon drink, and Barbara Jean's for dinner were amongst my favorites. We all had a wonderful time, and your house was great! Thank you so much Debbie. You were a pleasure to work with, and we plan to stay with you again the next time we come down.

We stayed at this cottage on Fish Fever Lane in spring 2010 and loved it. It was the perfect size for our small family and truly felt like a home away from home. The house is tastefully decorated and comfortable, and we soon discovered the little shortcut through the bushes that put us even closer to the village. Mullet Bay restaurant was great, and we enjoyed shopping in the village on more than one occasion! The beach on Jekyll Island was nice, and our daughter enjoyed her visit to the sea turtle rescue center over there. We also enjoyed a walk on the grounds of Christ Church and Wesley Memorial -- quiet, peaceful, and lovely. Sal's Pizzeria was great - best Margherita pizza I've ever had. (It's a bit hard to find back in that courtyard though!) We really enjoyed St. Simon's -- I didn't want to leave! We would definitely stay here again.
