We had a mini family reunion. What a terrific view of the lake. My wife and I had coffee early each morning on the back deck with the smooth lake view of TRL as our back drop. Our family enjoyed hiking the Ozark hills outside the hustle and bustle of busy Branson. The walk down to the lake was short but pretty. There are swimming areas very close as well. The neighbors seemed friendly. We will come back for sure.

Thank you for the great family vacation, again. This is our third year renting here. We love the close access to the water and the view is magnificent. The kids had a wonderful time playing in the yard as well as the lake. It is such a wonderful place to be and it's like we have our own private cove. Everything is clean and well maintained and we especially like the new bathroom. The neighbors are friendly and we always feel welcomed. We can't wait to come back next year.

Great family cabin location

My family and I enjoyed the secluded lake front home with a cabin feel. There is a large front yard and place to set off fireworks safely. Wonderful front porch for coffee in the am and dinner in the evening. The bath and laundry area are very nice and new! The shoreline is close enough to walk, we took a picnic down for lunch. The kids played in the water and we had our Seadoo coming and going. The whole family had a great Ozark vacation. Thank you for opening up your home.

Unkempt and noisy neighbors

Pros: Nice view of lake; easy walk to the lake; nice little yard in back Cons: Noisy neighbor; Unkempt and in bad need of maintenance; overpriced My family (2 adults and 2 children) was in this area to visit the theme parks, so we were not at the property except in evenings and early mornings. This turned out to be our good fortune since this property has neighbors who literally blast their TV and radio on their patio 24 hours a day(no joke). The grill had a bird's nest in it and is filthy. The patio was dirty and the chairs are broken. The garbage disposal doesn't work. There is a broken window. It seems the owners do next to nothing to update the property or maintain it.

Owner response:Our place is a remote, Ozark home & a lot of our guests have been coming for several years. This is the first time we have received any negative feedback.  I think Mike must have been expecting the Ritz or maybe a gated community.  Our place is well maintained & very clean. I went to the property after they checked out.  The grill was not dirty & any grill can attract birds to build a nest.  I have had it happen myself.  I just threw away the nest & turned on the grill.  Again, he must have expected a brand new grill.  Every renter since has used the grill with no issues.  The deck was in good shape & no chairs were broken.  My first thought was maybe one of the chairs broke while they were there. Not sure what was put down garbage disposal but I used Allen wrench that is located under the sink next to disposal & it worked immediately.  Please do be careful what you put down the disposal & obviously don't overload but again, never had an issue before. This seems to be just common sense to us.  In addition, they left food in the refrigerator & freezer as well as trash in kitchen.  I have always asked that all food & trash be removed when you leave. Iit is also written in the checkout instructions.  There is a dumpster provided. One of the outside storm windows in the master was broken when I arrived.  Not sure if a storm hit or how it happened but we would have appreciated being informed directly.  It will be replaced but since it is an outside storm, it should not be a problem or cause any issues.  The AC works great & our home cools down extremely fast. Lastly,  we have not received any other complaints about noise & I have personally been on site many days & nights.  I have not heard any blasting of TV or music or anything that would be considered loud especially not 24 hrs a day.  I have even contacted some other renters from this summer & they didn't know what I was talking about & said it was very peaceful & quiet.  I'm sorry Mike & his family did not enjoy their vacation & felt the need to complaint on VRBO & not contact us direct.  If he would have called so we could hear the noise and/or tell us which neighbor, we would have attempted to solve the issue immediately.  Please always feel free to call us as soon as you have an issue or problem.    Our goal is for you to have a wonderful, relaxing, fun stay at our home on Table Rock Lake!  Thank you for taking the time to read our response and come stay with us!!
