We were so pleased to have found this gem, right in the heart of Paris. Laurent was a super friendly and helpful host. The apartment had everything we needed - including dishwasher and washing machine which are rare to find in a rental of this price. Literally a stones throw from lots of major sites including l'opera, louvre, jardin Tuileries and the banks of the Seine. Metro stops were also very close. There were some good Japanese restaurants nearby, and on the other side of avenue l'opera we found a whole square full of Italian and American restaurants. Highly highly recommend to anyone looking for a great value, high quality place to stay in Paris!!

Our apartment was lovely. Just the right size for two people, with a comfy bed and a large bathroom. We even had a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. Our hosts were friendly and charming. We thought this was a great value for the money and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.

Cosy studio in a great location

Studio Moliere was a great find for my 2 friends and me on the HomeAway site. It's a cosy space - perfect for singles, couples or a small family - in a great location. We walked everywhere from the apartment - the Louvre is a stone's throw away, as is the Ile de la Cite and the Ile St Louis and the Rue St Honore and Champs Elysee. Oh, and the "Little Tokyo" that is the Rue St Anne is just over on the next street. If you are so inclined (as we were) you can even walk to St Germain des Pres and Le Marais. The metro station is about 5 minutes away, as are amenities such as a Monoprix (for foodstuff etc). Oh and there's a Pierre Herme nearby, along the L'Avenue de L'Opera to boot, for you to satisfy your sweet tooth. The apartment isn't very large but it's well laid out, nicely decorated and equipped: dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker and also well stocked with crockery, utensils, towels, tea, coffee, etc. There are even umbrellas and guide books you can borrow in the apartment! And it's scrupulously clean and well heated - a critical point for my friends and I, who hail from more tropical climes and hate the cold. The free wifi and free use of the phone for local calls was also very useful for making dining reservations. Laurent was lovely to deal with - he was very prompt in replying to any queries and requests and very accommodating. I'd like to visit Paris again at some point in the spring and I'm hoping Studio Moliere will be available when I do!

The studio is tastefully furnished and very well planned so that we could feel the parisian elegance. We felt very comfortable and slept well in the big beds. There was really everything that one might need, even a dishwasher, a washing mashine a hairdryer an iron and much more. It is centrally located, near Louvre, and there are several good restaurants, backeries and a big supermarket. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would recommend this nice studio to our friends.

We stayed at Studio Moliere for four nights and had an excellent time. We were so pleased upon entering the apartment - it was larger than we expected and had a real 'at home' feeling. Everything was clean and modern, but most of all - cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need, and the bakery down the street provided us with fresh croissants every morning. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and the water in the shower was nice and hot! The bed was comfy and we didn't hear any noise from the street at night - it was very quiet. The location of the apartment is fantastic, and we would definitely come back on our next trip to Paris!

I was in Paris two weeks ago for four days and I stayed here in Moliere Studio. Laurent was GREAT, very helpful and so nice! The studio was also beautiful! It was exactly as described. It was larger than I expected, and the studio was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and nice with a great heater/towel warmer which we got a lot of use out of! The studio is located in the heart of Paris. It is a five minute walk to the Louvre, and less than that to the metro station. It is also very close to Paris Nord station. I would recommend this property without hesitation to anyone who is visiting Paris for any length of time and if I return to Paris, I will definitely stay here again.

Charming, clean, incredible location

My family stayed here for 4 days the week before Thanksgiving. Laurent who owns the place was amazing, responsive and easy to deal with. We arrived at about noon on Sunday morning and were actually able to get in earlier than expected which was great as we were with our little boys (ages 5 and 7) and our infant son after a redeye from the West Coast. The location is amazing, the studio very well kept, clean and with everything you need. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Great Studio Apartment

We spent 7 wonderful nights here. The apartment is everything you could ask for. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Staying here was so much better than staying in a hotel. The only problem was there was leak in the water line to the washer. Laurent had it fixed right away and even called to make sure it was ok with us that the repair man came into the apartment. The apartment is close to the Louvre and the neighborhood is fantastic. There is a Monoprix down the street for grocery's and restaurants nearby too. We plan on staying here on our next trip to Paris and will recommend the apartment to all our friends.

Great Paris Vacation

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of a 25 day France/Spain vacation and have nothing but great things to say about the apartment rental. Upon arrival we were met and showed around the apartment. Any questions we had were answered and a bottle of wine was waiting for us as it was our honeymoon. The location is perfect for exploring Paris. There are many restaurants near by and the shopping in the area is "amazing" as described by my wife. We will without a doubt stay here again next time we visit Paris.

We had a wonderful stay at Studio Moliere. The location is very convenient. We were able to walk to most places and for others the Metro is very close as well. We enjoyed evening walks over to the Louvre. Such a magical, calm place. The studio was wonderful.It's very clean and modern. We felt very much at home. I loved walking to the bakery in the morning to get fresh bread for breakfast. We would for sure come back to stay at Studio Moliere. Great Space!

We had a fabulous time at Laurent's studio apartment. It was clean, neat, nicely decorated, and fully outfitted. So great to have our own nice shower, kitchenette, and laundry, plus the ability to call internationally, and have wireless. We would definitely recommend this rental as a great place for one or two people. It's nice to come home to, after a long day of walking and exploring Paris. The boulangerie a block up the road had the best croissants. The Louvre and the outdoor impromptu music on the streets were great. There is some street noise at night, so bring your earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Laurent was awesome at answering all our questions, promptly. Lovely greeting upon arrival, too.

The location is perfect: easy walking distance to Louvre, Île de la Cité, etc. 5 minute walk to metro lines 1 and 7, 10 minute walk to line 14 and Roissy bus. Great shopping and restaurants in the neighborhood. The condo is comfortable and quiet. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. Laurent is wonderful to work with. You cannot go wrong with Moliere Studio.

We stayed in the apartment 4 nights, we were greeted by Laurent who had previously sent us a map and instructions on how to get there from the airport. Laurent welcomed us on arrival and very helpful. The apartment contained everything we needed to make our visit very comfortable and homely. Great position and even had free phone access to Australia, which was a wonderful bonus.Flowers and a bottle of wine were also there on arrival which is a nice thoughful touch. We were pleasantly surprised with the apartment and would certainly recommend, thank you Laurent for making our stay enjoyable.

This charming studio was perfect for our family of four during our 5-night stay in Paris this June. The apartment is sparkling, quiet and in a wonderful location -- convenient to the Metro and everywhere in Paris yet on a nice, quiet street. Although we did not use the kitchen, it was well-stocked and brand new. Clearly this apartment is recently renovated and lovingly cared for! Laurent was a wonderful host. He lives close by and was available to answer questions. We definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Paris who doesn't want to hassle with hotels but instead wants a nice, quiet & clean place to call your 'home away from home'!

My girlfriend and I stayed in this studio during our first visit to Paris. We were very pleased with everything this studio had to offer - location, cleanliness, and conveniences of home. The location of our stay was our first priority and you can't beat the location of Moliere Studio! You can walk to most sights, which we did - to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Musee Rodin, Jardin de Luxemburg, Saint Chapelle, Arc de Triomphe to name a few. We also stumbled across a great restaurant just up the street, called Les Bistronomes, where we had our best meal during our 8 day visit! We would definitely recommend this studio to friends and family, and would return in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at Laurent's condo. Perfect location with shopping, cafes and metro stops near by. The place was clean and had everything we needed while there... even the washer/dryer worked like a charm. An added bonus is that we realized upon our return to the States that the Angelina Jolie/Johnny Depp movie "The Tourist" was shot just down the street! Anyway, Thank you Laurent! We will certainly book your condo for our next visit to Paris!

Moliere Studio in the heart of Paris suited our needs very well. The studio apt. was impeccably clean and the photos certainly reflect exactly what the place has to offer. Definitely centrally located to the sites and has great neighbourhood coffee, bakery, grocery and restaurant amenities. We arrived in Paris mid-morning laden with luggage and were not able to access the apartment until after 4pm but, Laurent graciously organized a depot for our luggage and we spent the afternoon sight-seeing. Flowers and wine greeted us at the apartment. Those small touches were much appreciated and we would definitely recommend this property.

We had an amazing stay in Paris with wonderful accommodations. The apartment rained in a lot of natural light and was very clean and welcoming. We had free internet access and long distance phone service to the States, which was an added bonus. Great location to many shops, museums, bakeries, we walked everywhere and there was no need for a taxi. We will stay here again, when we visit Paris. I wish I could give this apartment more than 5 stars. It is a great apartment in a perfect location for experiencing Paris. It is 2 blocks from the Louvre, the Tuileries and the Seine. It is also walking distance to most of the other sites you will want to visit. There are great restaurants and bakeries all around the apartment. It has all of the amenities you will need and is bigger than it appears in the pictures. The washer/dryer was a Godsend. Finally, I cannot say enough about how wonderful Laurent is. We arrived in Paris without an adapter for our computer. Laurent bought one and delivered it to us the next day. He was a pleasure to deal with from the time I made the reservation until the day we left Paris. I highly recommend Moliere studio.

Fabulous place to stay in Paris- so close to the Louvre

My friend and I decided to take a girl's trip to Paris (end of March). Neither one of us had ever rented an apartment for vacation, so we were a little aprehensive, however I would stay here again in a heartbeat! My friend has been to Paris several times and was impressed with the accomodations and proximity to everything. It is so close to the Louvre - 2 minute walk. There is a metro stop close as well. It was so convenient. The two of us fit comfortably in the apartment. We didn't try the pull out couch but the bed was really comfortable.Shower is nice- good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Laurent provides you with everything you would need- cups, plates ect. The fridge, stove and microwave are in good working order. We loaded the dishwasher but we forgot to run it before we left- sorry Laurent. There are instructions for all appliances. He even brought us extra towels and there was a bottle of wine for us. He has a map and a little guide as well for you. Very clean and safe apartment. There was also some tea, coffee, and cookies there for us. I recommend practicing using the key after Laurent shows you- I know it sounds funny but it's a little tricky. My friend was used to it and so after a few tries I got it too. Laurent was an excellent host and he even called a taxi company to request a pick time for our departure. I would highly recommend renting this apartment. I know I will on my next trip to Paris! The Perfect Paris Experience

You always hope what you purchase on the internet is what you will get. This studio on rue Moliere is all it's advertised to be. The studio allowed us to stay the week as if we lived in Paris, not just visiting. I would stay there again without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend this studio to anyone looking to feel apart of Paris.

If we could give this rental 10 stars we would. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and decided to go to Paris. With a vacation rental you never know what you're getting until you arrive. However, we had a good feeling about this rental versus some others as Laurent was friendly and responsive to all of our inquiries, no matter how small. When we arrived we were greeted and given a tour of the Studio and told where we could find food and other local stores and amenities. After the introduction we were left to the solitude of the studio. We heard from Laurent only when we initiated contact. Your privacy will not be disturbed. The studio itself was spacious and had everything you needed for a vacation stay. We felt as though we were truly at home. It was comfortable, clean and felt classy. There was very little noise on the street but the reality is (1) you're in a world class city so I don't care where you stay, there is going to be some road noise and (2) What little noise there was is dampened from being on the third floor. This made the noise a non-issue. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Steps from restaurants, bars, bakeries, cafe's, markets, eateries, postal service, ATM machine, major monuments (the Louvre, Paris Opera, and Palais Royal) and a few metro stations. My husband is an aspiring architect and I am a former law school professor. We have high standards and demand professionalism and courtesy when we fork over our hard earned money. Our accommodations were everything we could have asked for and more. Our host exceeded all of our expectations, on par with very high end concierge services. There was even a problem with the airline losing my luggage. Since I didn't speak French and the delivery driver didn't speak English I desperately needed an interpreter. I sent Laurent and email and he responded quickly. He offered to be my "go between" so I could get my luggage. This was above and beyond what we were expecting. Anyone interested in going to Paris should not look any further than this rental. There is a reason it is booked up 9 months in advance. We will return to celebrate many more anniversaries.

Great Apartment in the center of it all yet a world away

The quiet side street near the Opera and Louvre and so close to everything was great. The apartment was so much more convenient and much larger than a standard hotel room. The amenities were much more than we expected and the price was very affordable. We would recommend this location to all of our friends and definitely will return. The room was as promised, great location, short walk to many attractions and even shorter to the Metro. The room offered many extra amenities internet and coffee were a delight, it was wonderful. Very comfortable for 2 people. Overall the experience was great. The only negative would be the late night noisy partying neighbors.

We absolutely loved Paris and a huge part of the reason was because of this wonderful apartment. It is even better than described in the listing. Great location, only a few minutes walk to the metro which cam get you anywhere in Paris. There is a fabulous bakery across the street, many restaurants nearby, and a grocery store as well. The apartment is modern, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We had been traveling through Europe for nearly a month before arriving in Paris and the big, comfortable bed was such a nice treat, especially after long days of sightseeing. Laurent was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We hope to be back in Paris sometime and it would be an absolute pleasure to stay in this apartment again.

We were very pleased with our stay at this studio apartment and found it much larger than we expected, the is plenty of room for a couple. The owner was very quick to answer all inquiries in a friendly, informative manner. It was very convenient to have the kitchen area and washing machine. We were able to walk to the Louvre' within minutes, the Galleries Layfette in 10 minutes. There is a great bakery just down the street that has a wonderful apple pastry. The apartment is clean and very well stocked. We definitely recommend Moliere Studio as a nice, convenient, affordable place for your Paris visit. We enjoyed our stay with the help of this apartment.

We recently spent a few days at the Studio Moliere in Paris, and had an absolutely wonderful time. The apartment is in a fantastic location, perfect for exploring the city by foot or via the metro. The area was lovely, with plenty to see and do, including the beautiful park at the Palais Royal, and the Louvre, which are both just a couple of minutes walk away. The apartment is beautifully furnished, with everything you need for a short break, or a longer stay. The street on which it is situated is very quiet, despite such a central location. All in all, we would highly recommend staying at Studio Moliere, and we hope to come back again very soon.

We stayed here for a weekend with our two young children and loved the place. We'd definitely return and recommend to friends. Location is ideal with so many of the great attractions within easy walking distance, as are green spaces and handy shops. The photos are entirely accurate - the apartment has been fitted out beautifully, and was clean and well-equipped. Laurent (the owner) was so helpful and straightforward when making the necessary arrangements.

We visited from July 22 to 26. We liked the location of the appartment, very central. The street is very noisy during the day and night time and we had to close the shutters for the night. The appartment was getting pretty warm during the night and we had to turn on the fans. We did not sleep very well because of the noisy fans. We appreciated the free internet access and phone. Someone greated us on our arrival and showed up again for our departure.

Wonderful apartment in an excellent location

We stayed at Studio Moliere for 10 days from July 5 - 15 and we would highly recommend this apartment. The apartment was great value for the location, especially considering we saved a lot of money just by having our own kitchen, so we didn't have to eat out that much (only when we felt lazy). The studio was very comfortable, especially for two people. It even had a washer/dryer and a dishwasher, which came in handy since we were staying for 10 days. Since Laurent was on vacation, we were met at the apartment by his friend Emile, who was very friendly, helpful and accessible in case we ran into any problems with the apartment (which we didn't). The location of the studio was perfect, right in the heart of Paris. This allowed us to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go (and walk we did, several km per day, all over Paris). Even so, the metro stop was right nearby, which we did use when we went to the train station upon departure. We went to the Monoprix for groceries, which was just a few minutes walk away, and there were smaller grocery shops just around the corner. There was a bakery and some restaurants right on our same street. In conclusion, this apartment was really well-equipped for everything you would need to make your stay in Paris comfortable. It was like having our own home to come back to every night - which was great after a long day of walking and sightseeing. Staying at Studio Moliere was MUCH better than staying at an impersonal hotel - the two can't even compare. If you want to experience Paris like a Parisian instead of a typical tourist, the Studio Moliere can provide an ideal homebase. We would gladly stay here again and heartily recommend Studio Moliere to other travelers!

Great central location in quiet street near the Louvre, many restaurants and shops including supermarket. Clean, well equipped, modern accomodation with lots of little extras and friendly staff. Perhaps more suited for 2 than 4 as rather small, but more than adequate for 4 if necessary. Would highly recommend!

excellent apartment in great location

This apartment is perfect for 2 people but also accommodates 4 people comfortably. My husband and I came with our 2 teenage children and we fit just fine. Both the bed and pull-out couch were very comfortable with just enough soft, fluffy pillows. The amenities are modern and I love that there was a dishwasher and washer/dryer in the unit. Although the latter wasn't working properly the first few nights, it was repaired later and I was able to do laundry before my family and I left for home. The unit is right between the Opera House and the Louvre right in the 1st arrondisement which is where you want to be in Paris. The metro line is very close by and so are bus stops. Shopping, dining and doing groceries were so easy because everything you need is just a short walk away. There are even 2 restaurants and a bakery right across the condo. The best thing is that the property manager was so accessible and hospitable. He even helped is with directions to places we wanted to visit and gave us suggestions on how to get to the unit by bus from the airport. Best of all, even though we arrived a little past midnight, he met us at the apartment with a warm welcome. I'd definitely stay in this apartment the next time I visit Paris which I miss already!

Moliere Studio is all of that. The studio met all our needs...it was clean, well organized with many helpful extra which Laurent supplied (Merci!) It was our home to relax after a busy sightseeing day......or relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast (items from the bakery across the street) before we rushed off to enjoy the sights of Paris. So enjoyed the Eiffel tower and the Parks to escape the craziness. Luxembourg Garden was my favorite. The atmosphere, the crepe vendor....you have to find your own favorites. Don't forget to experience the Latin Quarters. Laurent was there for us when we needed him....Merci beaucoup. Moliere Studio is an excellent place to stay! The apartment is very clean, very well equipped, in perfect location and is managed very well. Linens are fresh and crispy and towels are thick and white. Bottle of wine and freshly-cut flowers were a nice touch. Easy access to everything: metro, grocery store, shopping, restaurants, and, of course, sightseeing. We'll definitely return!

The Moliere Studio was perfect for us - exactly as described! Laurent (the owner) was wonderful and helpful via email, and with meeting us when we arrived in Paris - much later in the day than expected, even, due to delayed flights. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, and is accessed only by a narrow circular staircase. Pack lightly! It is a short 2 - 3 minute walk to a variety of metro stops serving 5 or 6 different lines - makes getting to all the major sites very easy! The studio itself was clean, comfortable, quiet, and felt very safe. Included free wireless was REALLY helpful - make sure to bring your laptop. The laundry does a very small load, is slightly confusing due to directions only in French, and takes quite a while to dry, but we figured it out and were thankful to have it. Within steps of the apartment, you'll find a bakery (closes at 2 pm) and two small groceries (on Rue Richeliu), at least one of which is open very late each night & they speak English. The Louvre is approximately 4 - 5 minutes on foot, as are numerous cafes and brasseries. Should we travel to Paris again, we would happily stay here again, and would recommend to our friends as well. (It has a fold out sofa for guests, but is most comfortable for up to two adults.) One last note - the apartment includes a hairdryer. However, if you wish to use your own, or any other electrical device, ensure that you have a proper converter. European outlets are deeply recessed and though there are two adapters in the apartment, neither allowed me to use my own hair dryer or straightening iron, as the prongs simply aren't long enough, and the large rectangular American plug doesn't fit into the smaller, round, recessed outlet. An extension of some sort would solve the issue (and this would be true for any European hotel or apartment). Overall - my favorite accommodations in Europe to date, and an A+.

We loved the location, the promptness of Laurent in e-mailing and arranging access, and assisting us on our departure. The appartment is well-equipped and comfortable and although close to the action, it was quiet in the evenings. The complimentary bottle of wine was an excellent restorative after the long flight. Although there are some stairs to climb, we (two senior students) had no problem. If we return to Paris, we will definitely be contacting Laurent.

Our stay at the Moliere apartment was perfect! The central location allowed us to see all the major sites very easily and we felt safe the entire time. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and more. Laurent was extremely accommodating - he waited 3 hours for us when we were delayed at the airport and still greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome. Throughout our stay he was very helpful with advice and in booking a taxi for our return trip to the airport. We hope to be able to return for another stay in the future!

After an overnight train trip, our first ride on the metro, we were a little tired when we arrived at Moliere. But what a welcome, Mrs Dulac was delightful and we knew Paris would be the highlight of our trip. The apartment is as it appears on the web site. It is immaculately presented and had everything we needed for our week stay. The coffee was a real hit and with a quick morning walk to the bakery, a wonderful breakfast was enjoyed. The location is great and the street very quiet.

My family and I arrived at Laurent's studio to find that it was in mint condition and looked exactly as pictured on the website - newly renovated, modern, and very clean. We absolutely loved the location; it was just a few minutes' walk from the Louvre, Opera House, restaurants, and the metro. The studio is located on a smaller street, away from the heavy traffic, but also the double-paned windows helped to keep some of the street noise out which we appreciated. Laurent was a gracious host and provided us with useful information upon our arrival. I highly recommend Studio Moliere and would definitely return for another visit to Paris.

The apartment at 18 Rue Moliere was everything that we had dreamed of and more than we had dared to hope for. Initially we were welcomed by Laurent and Paris with open arms. Everything was within easy walking distance or easy access to the Metro. The studio is the perfect marriage of location and functionality with just the right finishing touches that made our stay unforgettably wonderful. Bistros, sightseeing, shopping so conveniently near by that I can not imagine a better place to stay when in Paris for either a short or long stay. We loved Paris and Rue Moliere. This was a terrific place to stay in Paris - convenient to public transportation, very clean and beautifully decorated. Laurent is a gracious host and very helpful with every question we had. He also added many thoughtful touches to the apartment that really made us feel at home. A beautiful studio apartment in a wonderful location at a great rate from wonderful owners. If that’s not enough.... Your one block from the metro, across the street is bakery, a quite street yet close to everything. The WC - bath area is roomy and immaculate. The kitchenette is beautifully appointed with all you will need. The most wonderful wash machine will deliver you clothes ready for a night out at the many close by restaurants or for a day at the Louvre about 3 blocks away, or shopping on Rue Saint Honore about 2 blocks away. Shop at the near by market and vin shop, fill the refrigerator and never go out if that’s what you desire. The internet, TV and wonderfully comfortable furniture will make this a second home for you.
