When my husband and I first went to Berkeley Springs to have a relaxing weekend, we found the area to be energizing and relaxing all at the same time. We loved the area so much we went back again and eventually bought this little farm cottage we call Sky Mountain Farm. A few years later we built a large cedar chalet on the next ridge and to support it, we rent it to vacationers. Check it out! Sky Mountain Chalet VRBO #212689. Just this year, we renovated our farm cottage for our own use and for that of vacationers. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Berkeley Springs
My husband and I own a hardware store in Marhyland and we will be retiring soon when the next generation takes over. We wanted to build a retirement business and since one of our favorite places is Berkeley Springs, we decided that would be a great place for a retirement business. Berkeley Springs has wonderful water, a nice community and is only 90 minutes away.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
There are plenty of places to hike on our 16 acres and our adjoining 8 acres. Groups of deer are prevalent and a black bear has been spotted on our property a few times. Enjoy the comfort of this cozy cottage with all the basic ammenities.
