The king size master suite has an open bathroom with a 2 person soaker tub from which you can sit and enjoy ocean views. There is a private 3rd floor ocean view terrace with teak deck chairs for sun bathing just off the master bedroom.
The 2 queen suites on the 2nd floor share a full bath and offer views of the lushly landscaped back yard. The living space on the 2nd floor includes a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with a full size restaurant Wolf range, built in microwave, dishwasher, fridge w/ice maker, gourmet coffee machine, and everything kitchen utensil and device to prepare wonderful meals for your whole crew. The kitchen opens to a dining area connected to an ocean view living room with a Swedish fireplace. Full size sliding doors extend the living space on to a large ocean view terrace that is truly an outdoor living room.
The ground floor offers an entertainment room with a high-def home theatre system (10 foot screen, 5.1 surround, DVD and DirecTV HD). There is a full wet bar with its own fridge and dishwasher. The back terrace opens into a private and lushly landscaped tropical patio and yard with outdoor dining area, a waterfall pond and BBQ area surrounded by palms, birds of paradise and citrus trees. There is a bouganvilla covered pergola next to the built in city gas BBQ, just turn it on and grill - no need to fiddle with propane.
The entire property is covered with secured WIFI internet access.

My husband and I met in Europe. He is a Santa Barbara native and loves to be near the ocean and the laid back feeling of California beach towns. I am from Europe and love nature. Now, we both work in California and Europe - in a variety of ventures. We speak a variety of languages and love travelling and experiencing new cultures, foods and wine.
Why the Owner Chose Ventura
We love the Pierpont community in Ventura. It is one of the last beach towns in California that offers walk-to-everywhere convenience on the ocean side of the 101 Freeway and still retains the classic 1950s and 1960s California laid back beach feeling - and the only such neighborhood that is close to Santa Barbara. When we saw the opportunity to acquire this unique beach villa, one of less than a dozen 4000+ sq foot houses with a private back yard in the Pierpont neighborhood, we had to jump! And we love it!
The Unique Benefits of this California Beach House
We really like stepping outside and feeling the sand in less than a minute; walking along the beach to Seaward Ave. to dine Mexican on Joannafina's terrace and pick up a latte at Full of Beans afterwards - people watching the beach goers; enjoying the sun sinking into the pacific with a margarita on the living room terrace and then watching a DVD on the 10 foot screen in the theatre/den. We like to have breakfast on Sundays at the harbor on the terrace at Le Petit Cafe.
