Another excellent visit!! This is the 4th or 5th year (twice per year - spring and fall) that I've had the pleasure to stay at this Condo and another enjoyable experience. The pictures really don't do it justice but are at least representative of how roomy and comfortable this unit is. Everything is clean and neat and works! The owners continue to make improvements each year we visit. It is just like coming home and with 2 living rooms, there is a space for whatever those gathering wish. I've experienced years with fabulous weather and years with not-so-nice weather. This condo is furnished with all the things necessary for a comfortable stay either way. The fireplaces work when it's cold or want to have a romantic evening before the fire and there is AC if it's unbearably hot (which I really can't imagine when there are windows to be opened to the lovely mountain air). There is a wosher and dryer if you get wet or muddy from hiking, biking, skiing or just roaming around town. The beds are comfortable and the common areas are well-furnished and usable without being prissy. Kitchen is well outfitted with pots, pans and utensils and everything is clean and shiny The shops and restaurants are all just a short drive away and there are tourist areas like the Hobo Railroad nearby.. I'm told the skiing is fabulous all winter and the hiking trails are interesting and go from easy strolls to those that are not for the faint-of-heart. Across the street is the Loon Mtn Resort which has not only skiing, but a zip line canopy tour for the summer and a gondola ride no matter the season and for a reasonable price. An all-round resort. I would HIGHLY recommend this unit. Owners are easy to deal with, prompt with their replys and there is an on-site manager available should there be any kind of problem although we've never had to use them in all these years. I'm not much for writing reviews but this condo is really worth the effort. If you're going to be in the area for a weekend or a week, it's a centrally-located place to stay with gorgeous views. Thank you for another fine visit!! See you in April!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

The unit is exactly as advertised and the photos accurately reflect this lovely townhouse. The place was clean, and the beds were comfy. A non-smoking unit was a plus for us. Nice quiet location on a dead-end road. Town is a short walk (1.5 mile or less) or an easy drive with ample parking in town. Lincoln had a nice relaxed pace, friendly shop owners and a 24hour Price Chopper Grocery for those late nite ice-cream emergencies! Our group spent a fair amount of time at the club house. The facilities were nice and the staff friendly. The owners of this town home were professional and easy to deal with. They responded to all my emails very promptly and answered all my questions. The keys were sent with a nice packet of info including directions, where to park, all info for arrival, checkout and who to contact for problems. The best part was the packet included info with the owners favorite local spots. An EXCELLENT value for the money. We had great burger with fantastic service at the Black Mountain Burger across the street from the entrance to Forest Ridge. Not such great luck at the Fish and Chips place (Gordy's??) on the same mall - the service was slow and the food only okay. We did a fair amount of short hikes. We would recommend the Basin trail for all levels of ability. The further you hike the more rugged the trail as you traversed along the side of stream. The Basin is an easy walk. We also enjoyed the tramway - sit in the back for the best views of the mountains. A nice easy hike to the observation tour once you get to the top with gorgeous outlooks along the short trail. We were glad we paid the entrance fee to hike the Flume trail - well worth it. it was crowded but we still had fun! I would recommend this unit (and these owners) to anyone looking to have a great VRBO experience.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children.

We were pleasantly suprised with the condo, it was more then we had expected. A description of 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms really doesn't do it justice. We had 4 adults and 4 children and the condo was more then large enough so that no one felt cramped or crowded. The condo is in a great location and with the 3.5 bathrooms we never had a problem getting ready for dinner each evening. Everyone enjoyed our stay and they are all ready asking if we can stay for two weeks next year. I would recommend this condo to anyone that needs the space, it is a clean, comfortable, well appointed home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

We're home! ... One knitter's greeting after eleven trips to the Kenny condo at Forest Ridge! Eight knitters, all ages and stages, trunks of foods, pounds of chocolate and multiple bags of knitting ... and, now, even iPads, iTouches, Kindles and Nooks ... arrive at the condo for another weekend. The condo is exactly as pictured in photos ... as always, spotlessly clean, bright and airy, comfortable as a cottage and large enough to accommodate all of us easily. The weekend weather was perfect and the area is safe and peaceful for walking or using the gym. The owners now include WiFi and their instructions make it easy for us to use ... a great help to those of us new users! Although there are many activities in the Lincoln area ... hiking, skiing, Hobo railroad, etc... we generally stay in the condo area that includes the gym and pool. There are many restaurants within a short ride ... or even a walk .... and they offer a great variety of choices. We recommend this condo to anyone who would like to be in the Lincoln area and feel at home. It's large enough for families, multi generations and/or 8-10 knitters! Two separate floor, living rooms make it perfect for noisy and quiet activities.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Our eleventh time staying in the Kenny's condo! This home has the feeling of a treasured place to relax, regroup, laugh, eat lots of chocolate and reconnect with the knitting friends we love. It is exactly as described and pictured in the photos ... only better in real life. The rooms are spotless, the furnishings kind to those who need to relax, the surroundings amenable to those who can walk or exercise (gym and pool included). It has the feel of a home in the country while still being within a short distance of so many activities, sight seeing opportunities and restaurants. The owners (Brian and Patricia) keep a supply of local menus and activities. We recommend The Gypsy Cafe if you are looking for a restaurant. The owners are available through phone and email, there is a property manager for onsite problems (which we have never encountered). The addition of wifi at the condo thrilled the knitters! We were able to send, find and/or share patterns on our various "i" pads, pods, Touch, etc. all while sitting inches away from each other. The condo is ideal for a group of ten women and 37 bags of knitting and would work equally well for a family with children or two families traveling together. The two living rooms, two queen sized rooms and two twins make privacy and time apart easily possible. We look forward to our next reunion and, as one knitter says each time: "It's like coming home to visit every year!"Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This condo is located in a wonderful area for activities for all ages. It is close to ski slopes, sight seeing ... we saw a Mom and baby moose ... restaurants and main roads, while still being in a quiet mountain setting. The photos in their ad only show a small degree of the warmth, cleanliness and size of this home. We have stayed at this condo twice a year for five years and intend to keep returning for many more visits. The owners, although not on site, have always been available, through phone or email, in a very timely manner to answer questions or requests. They continue to add to and replace any items that need to be updated. They provide information about local attractions as well as restaurant menus that have allowed us to make some great choices (try the Gypsy Cafe and the Woodstock Inn)! The condo offers lots of space for relaxation, group gathering, room for solitude if wanted, Wi-Fi for the computer needs, a deck with table and chairs for nice weather and a fireplace for when it's not! The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spotless and living room seating is generous. Our only minor wish would be for more lighting in the living rooms. We are a group of 10 who look forward to our time together and, as one member of our group said: "When we arrive at the condo, I walk through the door and immediately think 'I'm home' and I begin to unwind and relax."Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

The condo was as described on the internet, clean & well mantained. It worked out great for the six of us for the week. I'm going back this June for another week, needless to say i thought it was a very good value. That area of the White Mtns. is great with alot of things for every age group to do to have a good time.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1987
About the owner: We've always loved the outdoor experience offered in the White Mountains with our family and friends--from winter skiing to summers swimming in the Pemi or enjoying spectacular fall foliage. We can't wait to get back and relax in the mountains! Your Hosts, Brian & Pat
Why the Owner Chose Lincoln:
We selected Forest Ridge for a vacation home because it is quiet, has gorgeous mountain views, and is always beautifully maintained. You also can't beat Lincoln for being central to all activities in the White Mountains. Once you get here, you're all set, no traffic hassles or long drives, everything you need for a relaxing vacation experience is right here!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We have plenty of room for everyone at our three level townhouse condo. With two living rooms, the adults usually have the main level for TV, dining and relaxing, while the kids have the lower living room with their own TV and space. It's also a close walk to the Sports Club, only about 200', so we don't have to worry about driving to the Club, especially in the evening. The supermarket is also nearby and the area has a lot of great restaurants, plus you won't want to miss summer theater right in town!
