Located just minutes from downtown Winslow, the Bainbridge Island/Seattle Ferry, public beaches/parks, and a variety of restaurants. This professionally decorated, rustic furnished Lodge-style Home beckons your arrival!
Beautiful entry on the *Second floor into the foyer, with guest powder room and full coat closet. Beautiful American Heart wide plank Pine floors lead you into an immense great room with soaring ceilings, pine beams, and stone accents. A perfect room for adults and kids to gather with a stone gas fireplace, large banquet table, cozy furniture and two french doors that open up to a large covered deck.
Entertaining is a breeze with the open gourmet kitchen, with breakfast bar, adjoining the great room. Granite, basalt, and fused-glass countertops, stainless steel appliances, six (6) element gas stove top, servingware, crystal glasses, wine/martini glasses, placemats/linens, etc...are just some of the numerous luxuries provided. Catering services or personal chef are available upon request for your convenience. Our home is ideal for a large family or shared with another family.
*Third floor-Large Master Suite with queen bed, gas fireplace, HD flat screen TV, wireless internet, a "massive" five-piece master bath with beautifully slated walls and subfloor heating, jetted jacuzzi tub, enormous slate shower with two shower heads, vanity area, two exposed-concrete sinks and counters, private toilet area, and large walk-in closet. A separate deck is attached with your own private lanai complete with fragrant rose trellises.
*The loft/den located on the fourth floor is semi-open and semi-private. It contains two futon/sleeper sofas, HD flat screen TV, Wi-Fi/internet and desk for your convenience. This room can be used as a media room, additional bedroom space, or office.
*The first level/downstairs has a media room/bedroom that is equipped with two sleeper beds, large TV, VCR/DVD player, Internet/Wi-Fi, built-in closet/cabinet spaces, and french doors for privacy. This room can be accessed from the outside through french doors that lead to a covered lanai and manicured yard. There is smaller kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave, large sink, cook-top surface, and full washer/dryer for added convenience. A short hallway leads to two additional (2) queen bedrooms which have separate bathrooms and a shared shower/tub area. Sleeper cot/mattresses are available for children or adults to sleep on, as well.

Why the Owner Chose Bainbridge Island
Bainbridge Island was voted #2 as the best place to live in the United States. We bought our own home on Bainbridge Island twelve years ago and have raised our two children here. We love the proximity to the city, just a thirty-minute ferry ride to downtown Seattle. The convenience and popularity has grown a great deal in the last ten years. We have since then, realized the need for bigger short-term rentals,vacation stays, and temporary housing options on the island. Gathering friends and family together or staying as a group was a more difficult task to find. We purchased The Ledgestone Lodge with that in mind. A beautiful spacious property, convenient to the Seattle/Bainbridge Island Ferry (5 minutes to be exact). A cozy, yet roomy Lodge-style home that allows for gatherings of small groups of people and can accommodate sleeping arrangements for up to 12 in beds/sleeper beds. A private chef and/or catering service is available upon request.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our property sits on a half acre of with beautiful landscaping and a manicured lawn The property is surrounded by green belts and unoccupied land, so the setting is very open, sunny, and mostly private. There is a community beach, for residents of the development convenient for small boats, and kayaking- just a short walk to the beach. Many parks, including Fort Ward State Park, and public beaches are within minutes of driving. The yard is perfect for croquet, volleyball, and badmitten (all of which are provided) and for entertaining friends and family. The Lodge is set up perfectly for small groups and can accommodate two families, easily. The large great room attaches to the open kitchen and is wonderful for gathering around the cozy gas fireplace. The property has southern exposure, so in the summer, two french doors open from the great room to a large covered deck that is perfect for barbeques and relaxing in the warm sunshine.
