The beach house is located on Lake Michigan, just steps from the sandy beach, only 8 steps lead down to the waters edge (no large dune to navigate!).
To the south you can see the lighthouse, and walk to it and the pier to watch freighters enter the channel.
To the north you can walk along the beach for miles. The city of Manistee is within walking distance as well. The house is near the end of the cul de sac, very private and quiet.
There is a living room on the main floor and the upper level, both with fire places.
A circular stairway leads to the third floor, the widow's watch, the perfect spot to watch the sunset or a storm blow in. The upper level also has a reading nook to enjoy a great book and the view.
Each bedroom has a bathroom attached, with the bunkroom and one bedroom sharing a bathroom between them.
The deck wraps around 2 sides of the house and has plenty of space for enjoying the sun. There are 2 eating areas on the deck.
The screened in porch is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon out of the sun.
