Newly Restored 3000 square feet Colonial with 14 foot ceilings, located in Centro Historico. A garden was newly added to the back patio, which is viewed from the Master Bedroom and Kitchen/Living Room area. The Kitchen has glass accordion doors which can remain open to bring the outside in.
You can walk several blocks in one direction to the Plazuela Machado, which has restaurants and music, and in the other direction to do your marketing at the Mercado. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the Ocean, where you can stroll the Malecon. The tourist zone is easily accessible via bus, taxi or one of Mazatlan's pulmonias.
The house will be cleaned before and after your stay. You can arrange for additional cleaning if you wish.

Year Purchased: 2008
I am a semi-retired social worker, and a mother of three daughters. We are settled in various parts of the county, and all of us enjoy uniting in Mazatlan, and practicing our Spanish (not to speak of eating at the many nearby fine restaurants, walking along the ocean, and visiting Stone Island beach).

I am a total fan of Mexico and of the Ocean and I am excited that I have been able to combine both loves in a house in Mazatlan
The Unique Benefits of this House
I like being in a Mexican neighborhood, where I can speak Spanish and not have any confusion about what country I am in! I walk to the market at least every other day to buy my fresh produce and meat, and plan what restaurant I will visit next. The walks along the Malecon work off the extra calories. I have come to appreciate the expat community as well as my Mexican neighbors.
