This bright 1100 square foot suite faces the Bow River. Floor to ceiling windows ensure a great view. Your master bedroom has a king sized bed, 100% cotton sheeting and a warm comforter. The attached bath boasts a deep soaker tub and shower along with a walk in closet. The second guest bedroom has a queen bed and an attached bathroom with a glass shower stall along with the same matching sheets and comforter set as the master. Towels and bathmats are all colour coordinated. Hairdryers and a robe in each bedroom helps to limit what you need to pack. The fabulous layout separates each bedroom and bathroom unit.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances including a garburator, dishwasher, micro wave, stove and fridge with ice maker. A dining service for six along with quality cookware, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, food processor, vegetable staemer, electric fry pan and utensils allow for the ease of a home cooked meal. Granite counter tops and maple cabinetry make this a bright welcoming area to prepare a meal or grab a cuppa' at the counter.

Relax reading a book by the fire,watch a favorite TV show or DVD/VHS movie on the 42” TV screen. Listen to your IPod or IPhone on the docking station. An antique oak dining table creates a homey atmosphere in this downtown condo.

Set up your lap top in the computer nook. Use the free secure wi fi and make phone calls away from the main living area. Mobile phones for local calls are conveniently located throughout the suite. The balcony has a small table and two chairs. Sit outside and watch the world float by on the Bow River.

Complimentary starter cleaning supplies are provided including laundry soap for the ensuite washer/dryer. A vacuum cleaner, swiffer duster, ironing board and bathroom cleaners. Several grocery stores are within easy walking distance.

If you want housekeeping services this can be arranged for a fee. A welcome package with starter groceries, wine and flowers may also be arranged for a fee.

This location puts you footsteps away from all downtown locations. Theatre, restaurants, shopping, Convention Centre and major banks are all within close walking distance. The Calgary Zoo, Stampede Grounds/Saddledome, Fitness Centers, Eau Claire Market, and Prince's Island Park are all out your back door. Enjoy some of the world’s best hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and wildlife in nearby Banff and Lake Louise.

Why the Owner Chose Calgary

I moved to Calgary to be close to my passions. I love the extremes of a city life complete with spas and fine dining as well as extreme wilderness and solitude. I walk many miles across mountains and through alpine valleys. In the winter I can snowshoe many of those same trails. Banff offers some of the best downhill skiing in the world. At the end of a day I can take in a spa massage, walk along the river or catch a great Italian meal just across the street. Life doesn't get much better than that.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

This location is ideal for travellers, business people or newcomers to Canada. Downtown means you are close to all the services of modern day life. Need a bank, a drugstore,a dentist, a hospital, a haircut, groceries or a bottle of wine? All are just out the front door or close by. Need some quiet down time? Maybe a spa day, a picnic in the park, a quiet tree lined stroll by the river, a jogging path or a gym workout? Also just out the front door. Like to cook? The condo is ready for your culinary skills. Rather eat out or have something catered in? What can I say it is all out your front door.

If you are catching the Folk Festival, Shakespeare in the park or any of the many musical events that occur at Prince's Island you are within a 10-15 minute walk along the river pathway. Taking in the Stampede? The C Train will take you there and bring you home. Avoid the traffic hassles!

Maybe a day in the Rockies at Banff or Lake Louise is on your list of "must do's" No panic the route to the Trans Canada is a straight shot across the bridge. Parking downtown isn't a problem because you have your downtown parking spot reserved in a secure parkade. This location is ideal for couples of any age, mobility challenged guests will find the secure parkade and elevator useful. Very young babes in arms or older children will do well here. You can enjoy Calgary without a vehicle in this location. The C train and public bus system is ...you guessed it... out the front door or very close by. That said, I would be remiss if I didn't encourage you to rent a car or take the bus to Banff and Lake Louise for the day. It isn't out the front door but it is soooo close.

We were very pleased that every conceivable measure had been taken to provide everything you would require on vacation and making it a home from home. The convenience of the location combined with excellent parking facilities meant we could come and go with ease whether by foot or by car. The furnishings, beds, kitchen utilities and bathrooms were very good and everything operated perfectly.

      My first impressions were "new" "pristine" and "what a great view"! The condo met all of my expectations. The pictures and descriptions were very accurate. It was well equipped and I appreciated the extra touches, like the spare toiletries and Stampede tickets. I really liked being able to walk and jog along the river.

    • What amazes me is how helpful Mona was before we even get there. She provided links to areas and maps that have made our planning so much easier. Took the guess work out of where we would be staying. I have already recommended this condo to two friends who will be travelling to Canada this year.

    • We stayed here for one week. We had medical appointments to attend to. This suite was close to groceries & public transportation. The suite is beautifully furnished with little touches that made it feel like home. Mona was so helpful. She even stocked the fridge before we got there as our plane landed at 7:30pm. We will be staying again.
