A luxurious two-bedroom 1600 sq. foot vacation rental apartment is available with a private enclosed wrap-around garden. The tastefully furnished rental features a master bedroom with a large walk-in closet, custom marble bath and separate shower, complete kitchen with breakfast nook, second bedroom with queen-sized sofa-bed, laundry room, home office area, dining room seating for eight, and spacious living room with wood-burning fireplace.
We would like our lodging to remain a smoke-free environment. Therefore, we respectfully request that if our guests smoke, they smoke out-of-doors.

At a mile above sea level, Prescott is conveniently located in central Arizona, is surrounded by national forests, and is within easy access to a variety of scenic wonders and recreational activities.
Winter high temperatures are in the fifties and summer highs are rarely above ninety. And because Prescott is in the mountains, only 95 miles from Phoenix, evening temperatures are pleasantly cool.
Pets are welcome; a $250 refundable deposit is required.

Rick Derman is active in Prescott's vibrant arts community, and teaches art and media technology privately and at a local school. Rick and his wife, Maria, moved to Prescott from New York City in 2005, fell in love with this property in the heart of Prescott's historic district and furnished it to be a luxurious retreat.

We stayed in this fantastic property for a week in August, and it is a beautifully furnished home away from home. The location was excellent, allowing us to walk into town and to the arts festival which took place in the Courthouse Square that weekend, and to the many restaurants and shops in the town center. I teach at Prescott College, and even enjoyed walking up the hill to Grove Avenue. Everything about it was perfect, and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a very comfortable vacation home. The owner, Rick, has really created a wonderful space to relax, enjoy, and chill out. The only thing missing was a guest book so we could write our rave review right then and there!

My husband and I contacted the owner on short notice, and he could not have been more accommodating! The house was the perfect size for a romantic anniversary weekend. The furnishings were excellent and the backyard had a nice talbe and chairs. It was just 2 blocks from Wiskey Row where we visited the shops, restuarants and bars. I highly recommend!!

The owner has given a lot of thought to the needs of his tenants. The apartment is nicely laid out, convenient but quaint. We found this so comfortable that we felt right at home almost immediately and quite frankly were not ready to leave at the end of the month. All appliances were in working order and everything was very clean. The owner made himself available 24/7 in case of any problems, which there were none. The apartment is located approximately 3 blocks from downtown Prescott which made several nice restaurants conveniently available for walking. Be sure to check out Murphy's Restaurant and the Resturant in Hassayampa Hotel. There is great dog park approximately 4 miles away on Willow Creek Road if you have a pet with you. Young children might be a little bored here, but adults will find themselves right at home. Recommended for: age 55+, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway
