This is a quiet beach house only one block from the sandy Manzanita beach. This property is ideal for a quiet relaxing vacation away from city life. There is a little grocery store a few blocks away where you can buy your groceries. You can enjoy the house, cook a nice meal and watch a movie. Or you can walk down to the beach and make s'mores over an open fire. There is usually a fair amount of driftwood on the beach which is perfect for an evening beach fire.
In town there are a few coffee shops and some nice restaurants that you can visit. It's hard to beat a cup of coffee and a walk on the beach first thing in the morning. If you like to golf the golf course is just a few minutes drive or a 15 minute walk down the main road. If you like to hike you can drive 5 minutes to the base of Mt. Neahkahnie. The hike to the summit is about 2 miles and is a fairly easy climb. I started doing that climb when I was 6 years old. It's a fun family activity.
A few blocks from the house there is a pizza shop, a Mexican restaurant, several sea food restaurants and other neat little shops. When you're here take a few hours and just walk through the city. There's lots of things to check out.
There is a US Bank in town, if you need cash you can use their ATM. Most of the shops take credit though. A few don't.
The main attraction here is definitely the beach. Bring some towels with you and a Frisbee and go have fun on the beach. It's also a great place to fly a kite.
This property would normally rent for at least $200 a night, but we are currently offering a 50% special for booking a month! So you only pay for 2 weeks and get 2 weeks free! (We are only renting by the month until our short term rental permit is approved.) Reserve your month today. No tax is due on a monthly rental and there is no cleaning fee. (You obviously don't have to stay at the property for the whole month if you don't want to, but we're currently required to charge for a whole month at a time, so we've discounted the price by 50% to make it more affordable.)
I see a lot more people visiting this page than I see contacting me so just send me an email or give me a call and let me know when you are looking to stay. Maybe we can put you together with another couple and together you can rent the month as a whole and each stay half or something like that. I'm pretty negotiable.

- The house has 2 full kitchens, 2 twin beds, 1 full bed and 2 queen size beds. There is also a lot of space for sleeping bags. There are also 3 couches that could double as sleeping areas. At family gatherings we've had as many as 19 people stay here, so there's quite a bit of space. The house is 2 stories. There is a nice view of the ocean and of the mountain from the second floor.

My grandparents used to live at this house in Manzanita Oregon. They retired here. It was passed onto my parents and we've decided to rent it out when we're not using it.
The Unique Benefits of this House
You can't beat a nice fire on the beach, roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. There is a really nice park a few blocks away. It's fun to walk on the beach. If you're brave you can try swimming in the ocean. It's a really nice town. Pretty quiet. I love the fresh air there. It's a great place to go to relax.

I used to stay here and my grandma would cook us delicious meals in the kitchen. Then we'd share a family dinner at the dinner table. The view from the table in the kitchen is very relaxing. I love going here to get away from life in the city and spend some quiet hours near the beach.
