Everything you need for a perfect Lake Murray getaway! Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home will surely become your family’s vacation spot for years to come!

With accommodations to sleep up to 9 (not including a child in the Pack-And-Play we have available) we have room for everyone. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and is located on the ground floor. Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms, one with two twin beds (that can be converted into a king bed) and the other with bunk beds (twin on the top, full on the bottom).

This non-smoking home has a view of the lake from almost every room as well as a comfortable living room, complete with 42” HDTV and satellite TV. For additional enjoyment we have a game/entertainment room, complete with air hockey, foosball, 42” HDTV with satellite TV, movies, games and a futon for extra sleeping room! We are also equipped with wireless Internet throughout the home. Join around the dining room table or bar for a home-cooked meal in our fully equipped kitchen or take a break in the all-glass Florida room overlooking Lake Murray.

The inviting deck, built in charcoal grill, additional gas grill and dock are all well lit and ready to for your enjoyment! Relax in the comfy hammock while listening to the sounds of nature and the water. Plus we have great fishing right at the end of our dock and a ladder off the dock for those leisurely swims.

All your fishing needs are taken care of too (you provide the license) – we have fishing rods and tackle for you to use as well as a live bait store one mile away. Dreher Island is less than 2 miles by car for even more fishing, tournaments, swimming, barbecuing, relaxation and outdoor fun!

We have a covered area to park your boat or jet ski and a private community boat ramp to launch from. If you don’t have your own boat, we have a 16-foot Bayliner speedboat available for rent too!

Location, location, location…the towns of Chapin and Prosperity are both 10 miles away for all of your retail needs, including shopping, dining, grocery stores, custom furniture and antiques. Just 5 miles past Prosperity you will find Newberry for more of everything you need, including the Newberry Opera House, a venue offering a great selection of nationally known artists. We are also a short drive to our state capital, the University of South Carolina, the nightlife of Columbia's Vista and historic Five Points as well as The Columbiana Mall, Riverbanks Zoo, Frankie's Fun Park, EdVenture kids museum and the State Museum.

  • This home was absolutely fantastic! My family and I (which includes a 1 year old) had a great time and were beyond pleased with the rental. My fingers were crossed when arriving hoping it was going to be a clean house because my son crawls all over the place...and I was so pleased to see how immaculate it was! We had some amazing moments during our stay. The game room was great and having the beautiful porch with surround sound was perfect when you just feel like relaxing! The best part of the experience was working with the owner who was wonderful...thank you for being so accommodating! We look forward to returning in the near future. To those reading this…you won’t be disappointed booking this home for your vacation.

  • This home and its owners met and surpassed every expectation I could ever ask for. The home is truly a home away from home. As soon as I walked into the home, I was very pleased. The home is very inviting and accomodating. The outdoor deck was wonderful, and when you just feel you can't take the heat anymore the indoor patio is waiting to help relax you and cool you off. The dock is maintained and located at the end of an inlet so there is plenty of privacy. We rented the owner's boat and had a blast pulling floats behind it. We invited a few friends down for a BBQ and everyone was constantly talking about how nice the house was. After we came home everyone was still talking about how much of a good time they had. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

  • We had a wonderful time staying at this peaceful home for our daughters graduation from USC. We chose to rent a home on the lake instead of getting hotel rooms in the city. We could not have been more pleased with our decision. Every evening we enjoyed the screened in porch and through the day we rented a boat and a enjoyed the beautiful and calm Lake Murray. We are making plans to return many times next summer, bringing our boat. The owners were wonderful!!

  • We just got back from a wonderful family vacation where we stayed at this home for a week and let me tell you it was so much more than we had hoped for. The set up is perfect for a family with the bed selection, the game room and the sunroom and decks with their amazing views. We brought our own boat and had no problems with the deck or anything else for that matter. It is less than 10 min. to Chapin so if you need to pop out to the grocery it's not such a hike. Quiet, lovely neighborhood and set back on a nice, calm cove. We thought at this price we might be sacrificing alot but let me tell you, it was the perfect getaway and exceeded our expectations. We will gladly return!!!

  • As we are unpacking this evening in Fl, we are so remorseful we will not be waking up tomorrow morning to the wonderful sounds of the lake, birds, and nature, let alone the serenity of the lakeside setting. We enjoyed 12 wonderful days of total comfort, luxury and peacefulness. In addition, we experienced first hand, the genuine involvement and sincerity the landlords had for for our total vacation satisfaction.   • What a great house! We stayed there for my son's graduation and it was perfect. My family came over and we grilled out! Very open and spacious home. During the day we took walks and loved hearing the church bells chime. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The owners were very accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely be back!

  • The home had a lot of room the bedrooms were big.I think table lamps in the bedrooms would of been great. We loved walking to the dock the smell of the gardenias was so relaxing. Only problem was the little bugs on the outside doors.

    I love the gardenias too! Although my family considers it odd that I think they smell like rice pudding! We have since added table lamps throughout as well as a bug zapper outside, so thanks so much for the input. Can't wait to have you back!

  • We spent 3 days and 3 nights here and loved it. The owner's were extremely accommodating and hospitable. The house is comfortable and well equipped. Though only 4 adults stayed in the house overnight, we hosted a family barbecue and there was plenty of room for everyone. The bedding is comfortable, the plumbing and appliances worked well. The TV's are modern. The backyard area is perfect for cooking out and lounging around the fire pit. After a long day of wakeboarding it was a real pleasure to tie up to the private dock and leave the boat until morning. If you're a wakeboarder or a skier, you've never seen anything like Lake Murray on a quiet weekday morning. Smooth as glass as far as the eye can see. We will be back, and soon. Thanks!

  • We stayed Memorial Day week-end 2009 and we were very impressed with the house and the lake. It is in a very nice quiet neighborhood, so we went for some nice walks too. There is a church at the end of the main road and everyday at 9:00 am and 6:00 pm beautiful music plays over there outdoor speakers, the people on the lake can hear it too. That was an extra blessing we got each day. The house is very clean and beautiful.We will rent again .
